Admin, please stop closing this request. I am asking for a feature request, not a work around. If the Emby devs are refusing to implement this request, that's one thing, just say so. But closing the request with, "Double-tap the volume slider if this is the old style Shield remote.  That will immediately play the selected channel.", and not allowing further discussion is not a solution to the request. I am resubmitting my initial request verbatim in the hopes that we can move into a more product
