leone007 1
Well, the title says everything. I have a HDHomerun - Synology NAS combination, and I can directstream my TV streams (1080i@25 FPS) on my PC I use Emby Theater, with perfect deinterlacing, but I cannot find this option on my M1 mac Emby app. (and as you can guess, sports are unwatchable without deinterlacing) Is there an option somewhere hidden, or how should it work? Luke 37099
HI, there is currently no option for this, but it's something we can look at adding. Thanks.
leone007 1
Thanks Luke, any timeframe on this? Also I have read an old thread about server side deinterlacing. My synology nas can handle proper double frame deinterlacing using tvheadend, so can I make it work through emby server? I couldn't find the tag for deinterlacingmethod in encode.xml. Should I just add a line, or it has completely gone?
Luke 37099
Ideally I think we'd just handle it client-side directly in the macOS app, and if that works out, we may not even need to require setting an option.
leone007 1
Great, any idea when will this happen? (MacOS client-side de-interlacing)
