NOCHTPC 1
Does mb3 handle multi disc volumes, ie beethoven complete works/ volume 1 discs 1-5/ volume 2 discs 1-5...etc?
berrick 28
Yes it does. If you have a folder Called Pink Floyd then sub folder with names corresponding to the album you will see one entry for Pink Floyd and dependent on which coverart treatment if any you can have a visual indication that this entry has multiple disks. The way different apps display the data can be slightly different. To have a multi disk album display properly (not as a single disk with all track listed from multiple disks) you need to use the MP3 disk tag. For example Pink Floyd - The Wall, my folder structure is as follows Pink Floyd Pink Floyd - Animals Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon Pink Floyd - Division Bell Pink Floyd - Echoes - The Best Of CD1 CD2 Pink Floyd - Final Cut Pink Floyd - Meddle Pink Floyd - Momentary Lapse Of Reason Pink Floyd - More Pink Floyd - Obscured By Clouds Pink Floyd - Pulse Pink Floyd - Relics Pink Floyd - Saucerful Of Secrets Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn Pink Floyd - The Wall CD1 CD2 Pink Floyd - Ummagumma CD1 CD2 Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Setting the Track disk ID (all tracks) for the Wall CD1 to disk ID 1/2 and CD2 to disk ID 2/2 in a web browser, album view, I see one album entry. When I click on the album I then see two disks each with the correct track listing. Different apps will display differently for example the Windows Phone app just lists all tracks from both disks BUT correctly ordered, all tracks disk 1 followed by all tracks disk 2 Edited September 21, 2014 by berrick

FrostByte 5052
I've got the 60 disc Beethoven Complete Masterpieces which also is broken into 5 volumes with multiple discs for each from a single box set, but I just have the discs under the one folder because that's the way Musicbrainz shows them and doesn't break them down by volume. Though maybe mb can make volumes some day to make it more manageable. http://musicbrainz.org/release/453c29f7-fd1b-412a-8e92-a5a123f6fad5
