Hello Tim. I have Nvidia Quadro 4000. before that I have Geforce gtx 970 but premiere pro GPU Render works quite slow. With Quadro 4000 is much faster and better image. about Geforce is for gaming and movies is different.
I chose Quadro use for video editor and movies is best heavy data 1080p and 4K.

And about HEVC decoding is problem with movies with HEVC is also problem. playing KM player is no problem. Power DVD does play Hevc problem.

Video editor Premiere Pro + Nvidia Quadro 4000 work very well.

I am happy with Nvidia Quadro 4000. to use.
I do a lot of watching movies through netflix Youtube. file movie.
