Anderella 13
As I'm trying to get preview pictures on my qnap, I hope this is the correct forum. I have a library with homevideos, every mkv file in a separate folder. I managed to generate chapter preview pictures (see screenshot). But couldn't find out, where those pictures are stored. But I would love to get them - kind of automated - also as folder- or movie-pictures in the videos/folder view. (like I get with movies and series) Is this possible? Of course main difference: all my movies have poster jpg's inside movie folders, the homevideos have not. Can anyone be so kind and guide me in the correct direction? Luke 37180
Hi, try refreshing the metadata on one of these and see if that helps generate an image. Thanks.

Happy2Play 8332
Can you post a server log with that process. What options do you have enabled on that library.
Anderella 13
Enclosed screenshot of process I started, and the settings for this library. And the server log. (Do I have to be carefull with any infos in the server logfiles?) embyserver.txt
Solution Happy2Play 8332 Posted December 20, 2021 Solution Share Posted December 20, 2021 You need to enable Screen Grabber in order to generate item images then Refresh Library or test on a couple items. 3 minutes ago, Anderella said: Do I have to be carefull with any infos in the server logfiles?) Depends, but you may want to sanitize WAN address and possibly remote client addresses. But you can remove the server log as this should appear to be a config issue. Anderella 13
Thank you so much, it worked now:) Very happy! ### Besides I have to repeat myself: It's really terrific how Emby works and is supported and I really appreciate all your great work and help. Anderella 13
Right now the poster.jpg's are stored next to the corresponding mkv-file, same media file folder. The additional generated and stored preview-pictures (in my case for every chapter) are obviously stored somewhere else...... Any chance to store them also in the media folders? Thank you.
