legatinho 0
Hi, Is it possible to delete files / folders from the interface, using a MCE remote? I started using Jriver (for madvr), but I miss this feature a lot from Xbmc, as I like to delete stuff after I watch it (the whole folder), and Jriver can't really do that. I wonder if Media browser has this type of file manager interface? Thanks!
Macburp 109
You can delete files in MBC, not folders. Not sure if its possible in MBT, certainly not in other clients.

It is possible with MBC if you enable Delete functionality at the user level in MB Server. I have asked for this feature in MBT in the past and it seems to prompt a lot of debate from the community. Some would welcome it, others don't even want it as an option. Now that DELETE functionality can be assigned at the MB Server on a user specific basis, I would like to see this as an option that can be turned on in each client (MBC, MBT, Android, WebUI, etc.) based on your needs. I have a large media collection that I do not wish to delete, but I also like to use MBT, MBC and Android client to watched my Windows Media Center recordings, which are a watch and delete collection. Would be nice to have consistent functionality across all viewing platforms.
