Marc0 26
Hi There, Is there a way to open the "start page" of a movie in EMBY by an URI? And then have in open in a mobile app on your phone... like in iOS? Something like: emby://emby.mynode.com/web/index.html#!/item?id=525266&serverId=3832872h234yg247234 Edited November 21, 2021 by Marc0
chef 3749
You could check out the swaggar API. Specifically 'Sessions', and General commands. Sending browse commands, is in there.

Luke 37254
if you're on Android then yes, you can deep link to a specific item using the emby:// scheme. You currently have to set the Intent action to "android.intent.action.VIEW", then you can use a link like "emby://items/{SERVER_ID}/{ITEM_ID}"
Luke 37254
iOS has a slightly different url format, where the item ID and server ID are query parameters. So you can use "emby://items?serverId={SERVER_ID}&itemId={ITEM_ID}" on iOS.

Bradley5126 0
Hello, Do you know what the URL would be for Apple TVOS? Tried both: emby://items/{SERVER_ID}/{ITEM_ID} and emby://items?serverId={SERVER_ID}&itemId={ITEM_ID} No luck. It opens the app but does not navigate to the content. Thanks Brad

Thanks Brad HI, I would follow the same convention as iOS, since the two apps share a lot of resources. We just haven't added support for this yet in Apple TV, but we can.
