Joechung 5
Dear EMBY technician: How can I name it so that EMBY does not recognize it? Since I want to keep this file, I don't want to move it. Now EMBY automatically recognizes it and makes a mess of my library. I think EMBY can't recognize it.
Luke 37132
Hi, there is currently no way to ignore individual files, but you can ignore entire folders using the .ignore technique. @cayars can point you to the help topic on that. Thanks.
Solution Carlo 4330 Posted October 17, 2021 Solution Share Posted October 17, 2021 https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159118-excluding-files-folders This is the shortest KB article ever! Ready, here it is: To exclude a folder from the library scan, simply place a file inside the folder named .ignore This will cause Emby to ignore all subfolders as well.
