knight09 3
The new OTA ATSC 3.0 standard was released in Indianapolis recently. Emby does not provide the guide data for the 5 new channels. Also the image quality is not as good as it is with the HDHomerun app. Does Emby have plans to support the ATSC 3.0 standard better?
Luke 37112
Hi there, can we please look at an example? Thanks.
Carlo 4330
ATSC 3.0 is new and we just added AC-4 support in beta. So it's safe to say we will be working on this and trying to improve it. What you should do for now if use the existing channel Guide data for the ATSC 3 channel. These channels need to be broadcast in ATSC 1.0 as well as 3 so you should already have the channel guide data in your lineup.
jrwalte 17
That's exactly what I did. Under the server live TV Channels, find the new ATSC3 channels (they will be in the 100s) and then click the 3 dots and edit. Then manually fill in the guide data source and data channel with the ATSC1 it matches to. My problem is getting the video and audio to work on my Emby client.
