CorradoL 2 Posted August 3, 2021 Share Posted August 3, 2021 Hi, I can't find a way to uninstall Emby Server. I downloaded the installation file, unzipped it, and inside the System folder I started the .exe file. Now I would like to uninstall it, I clicked the file MediaBrowser.uninstaller.exe, but it tells me that I have to uninstall from the Windows 10 apps & features panel. But Windows 10 can't find the program. How do I completely remove Emby ??? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Solution Carlo 4330 Posted August 3, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 3, 2021 Sounds like you were running Emby as a portable install. Just remove the folder you created from the ZIP file. If you want to remove any data that might have been written go to C:\Users\YOUR-USER-NAME\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server and remove this Emby-Server folder. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That folder will not exist on a portable install unless you put it there. Installing from a zip can be placed anywhere and all you do is delete the folder you unzipped the system folder to.
