Milldor 14
Using Video display syncing with the resampling option gives a really nice smooth image on a 120hz TV which is great. However, when HDR is enabled at the same time the colours are displayed incorrectly. I would really like to be able to use this option and was hoping for a fix or some advise please? I've tried multiple different combinations though. But as soon as resample is enabled any HDR videos look like the original screenshot. This happens on a 1080ti and a 3080ti. Solution generiq 113 Posted July 17, 2021 Solution Share Posted July 17, 2021 Set hardware acceleration to auto (don't use copy for HDR), and disable OpenGL. If you're using audio bitstreaming, display resample will automatically and silently be disabled. If you want to use display syncing with audio passthrough, use vdrop. And if you want to still use OpenGL, you'll need to use a customized mpv.conf and reconfigure your output settings in the Nvidia control panel.

It'd be nice if things just worked with a mess around though like they did when madvr was used. Such a poor decision to switch to mpv.
generiq 113
Once this is completed, it won't happen anymore. https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/8936#issuecomment-874176422
