Emby Collections are good right? Just messed up in Kodi? In Kodi go to addons and open the Emby for Kodi addon Then Settings...Sync...Manage Libraries...Refresh boxsets

Hey guys, i'm encountering a really weird bug on my Nvidia Shield. Information: Agent: Android 11; SHIELD Android TV Build/RQ1A.210105.003 Server-Version 4.8.7.0 When i'm playing a double-episode (don't know the correct name) e.g. PAW Patrol - S1:E1-2 - Rocky will nicht baden, Das große Herbstfest the ui and app freezes at the end, when it should show the next episode info (no matter if the next episode will be an single-episode or not). The next-episode-info is not shown and sometimes the whole app freezes, sometimes the progress bar freezes. Playing a single-episode everything is fine (no matter if the next episode will be an double-episode). Don't know since when this issue exists, but it seems to be a bug since some versions.

sounds perfect! but sorry!! cannot find it in my side menu there's no sync chapter? and I libraries I update meta data for that? but in collections there is a limited context menu I cannot sync it?

Ya, you don't need that Emby plugin anymore. I'm pretty sure all you need to do is Refresh Boxsets with the E4K settings though.

HI, have you changed any options in wintv? It defaults to 10 minute buffer files. For emby usage that should be left at the default value.

In the Emby for Kodi addon try Settings...Sync...Manage Libraries...Refresh boxsets I have to do that once in a while after an upgrade myself because some boxsets become broke

there seems just something to be wrong only 15 are submitted and the data is corrupted reset nodes is not helping. only 15 defect ones. in dynamic it seems much better

Nope. I solved it by return the Mac Studio to Apple.

and I have not changed a setting. like for example use boxsets as tags I just saw. still unchecked. yesterday everything was perfect with my emby lib and the sets.

you mean kodi addon? I don't have an kodi addon called boxsets or movie sets. should I? kodi is only and 100% using my emby library via the Plugin from here. nothing scraping or doing in kodi and I don't have an emby Plugin for that, I guess? I have scanned libraries all, and movies 3 times in emby. scanned metadata in emby. restarted the docker and the kodi box several times

I meant refresh boxsets in the addon settings, not Emby

thanks yes. In emby ecerything is correct. besides 15 are missing and it seems thees 15 are destroyed one I see in kodi. but not 100% sure yet. anyway in kodi I see 15 of more than 100 and they are not correct

my new captain collection. there's something really wrong. I have 3 and in emby they are displayed correctly.

The fact that Emby sees "Film Noir" and "Film-Noir" as the same thing leads me to believe neither of those options will actually work anyway.

As for Plex they have their own mirror site is my understanding so they can really do what they want. And unless they changed the code Jellyfin should be doing the exact same thing as Emby as it was Emby code.

Not sure what you mean here as requests do get throttled. As I have sent all people via the api and took 4 days for all queries to finish. So yes it can be done but will be throttled per provider site restrictions.

Have you tried to refresh boxsets?

We have submitted 4.8 to Synology, so hopefully that will get through soon.

Thanks this mostly worked, except I ran into a limit of the search providers since nothing is updating right now anymore. Then I won't make another one. If Plex can do it without running into issues I think Emby should be able to find a solution for this. The strange thing is with my Jellyfin instance I didn't do anything special for it and it did it automatically for me for all the people it did find.

@Luke may have to comment as you have query logging enabled. But at the same time this is 4.7.14.0, really wish Synology wasn't a version behind.

Yes this is what happens when you do not write nfo files as the item is deleted from the database, then readded as a new item. As Emby does not understand the concept of just moving a item. It nfo is written the all information is maintained and known.
