Not on the server side, you need to sideload the beta APK onto your device since it was fixed in the beta.

I've seen something similar to this before, I think it's mostly harmless and will probably not repeat, but it is probably a bug. BTW you'll probably never achieve zero errors since things can get logged like when TVDB API was down yesterday that logged some errors, but I agree with checking if there are errors in your logs, understanding what the errors mean, and resolving what's possible.

I still don't see the SQL error you're talking about within the logs, was it presenting it on the web UI? In any case, yes right at the end of that log it indicated the problem. The earlier log you posted didn't have this error though so you may still have issues, but I hope not. transcoding-temp is only used when a transcode needs to be performed, a remux (which is usually audio being converted), or I also see a log for directstream and it looks like the player didn't support the audio bitrate but the log otherwise indicates it was just copying the audio stream so not really too sure on that but if a stream is direct playing this folder doesn't get used at all.

This is exactly what is happening for me also when pressing the fast-forward or rewind buttons. One press works fine but you have to wait for the OSD to disappear before you can press it a second time. This is a pretty recent change as I've been skipping forward for a long time like this with no issue and no change to my setup. Just recently started acting this way....

Channels 38.1-7 in the guide are all showing as the exact same thing. They are actually:

I changed my LAN's network scheme, so everything got new IP addresses. Emby couldn't find the HDHR tuner anymore, so I deleted the existing tuner in Emby and added it back with the new IP address. Now, all the scheduled recordings (one-timers or series) are gone. The series still show as set to record, but they recordings are not happening. Emby says it is recording these: but all of the future episodes are now missing under "Live TV" > Schedule. Toggling on/off will probably fix it, but please fix this so scheduled recordings are not lost. At the very least, don't lie to me about series are recording and they are not.

Staying with Dexter, it appears that same episodes (S01E10 onwards) are being rescanned/rewritten on two consecutive scans, snippets: while same episodes have not being touched (S01E01 to S01E09). Random check on few other TV shows shows (lol, double "shows") same occurrence, Emby seeing all the same shows/seasons/episodes as being reported changed. I'm really having trouble wrapping my head around this case.

I am usually very good about understanding questions even those presented by people whose native language is not English. But this question seems to really have no root language. If you are an English speaker rephrase your question. If you are not then try and post in your native language. If you are unsure about there being people here that understand your language then post in your native language with a translation in the same post. The odds are good that someone here will understand your language. I, for one, am usably fluent in English, German, Japanese, French and Spanish(more Mexican Spanish than European Spanish). If I am wrong that English is not you native language then I am sorry for the wrong guess.

@LukeI was using the TV platform in "virtualTvExample" and it stopped working today. The log is attached below. The EPG populates OK but clicked shows do not play. I get the error message: "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. (Parameter 'index')" It was working great an hour ago. Has remote access previously worked via Connect? But if you can log into the forum the exact same info applies to Connect assuming your server Remote access works.

@OracleI'm logged in as admin, that should have access to everything?

Unless there is a platform variable, I am not sure. Personally, unless you wish to stay on beta cycle until released, I would wait. But I am currently unable to reproduce a library folder access issue in 4.8.7.0 but am on a Windows install.

Sounds like a permissions issue. Make sure your user has RW access to the folder. Otherwise, access it as root and see what happens.

I think when looking at an artist's page who is not an album artist, but appears on compilations you would want access to the songs directly..(searching through the compilation albums for the artists content would be a ball ache. Agree songs are lower priority.

So you saw in my screenshots (that I posted previously) that my "Disks" library has 2 folders: /mnt/usbdisk2/media/discs/by-age/PG/9 /mnt/usbdisk2/media/discs/by-age/PG/14 and that I've only granted the "Bobby" user access to /mnt/usbdisk2/media/discs/by-age/PG/9 However, when I'm browsing the "Disks" library as the "Bobby" user, I'm seeing movies from both directories: My expectation is that "Dead Poets Society" and "Remains of the Day" would not show up because they are only in the "/mnt/usbdisk2/media/discs/by-age/PG/14" which is unchecked for the "Bobby" user. I've tried that, no matter what I do I just keep getting, access denied. Like I say, it would be so much easier if @ShanePcould add it to the Emby catalogue?

Can only guess related to new client version release and not this topic. But think devs will have to comment as this is specific to the new client release 2.2.21, correct? But just updated to beta 2.2.21 and currently not seeing a issue on my iphone se 17.4.1. Will test again when update to 17.5.1 is done. No issue seen after OP update to 17.5.1 either in my limited testing.
