Thanks for the post. I’ve looked at the shield before but for the room I’d be streaming in I’d rather just use the Infuse app if that would work property. It’s cheaper than a shield.

You will need to use the tools that are based on the work quietvoid created. If you really want to use that horrible device for Emby you need Infuse. Apple is horrible for support outside of their ecosystem. It would be better for you to just replace the crApple TV with an Andoird player like a Shield or 3rd Gen Firecube. DV is 100% proprietary, and there are multiple profiles that you need to learn to understand in regards to what can play on what device. You not only need to make sure your TV can support whatever proflie your file is, you need to ensure your box can as well.

Just adding a little bit more for when you guys get back next week... the last few minutes of this log were skipping issues, server completely idle and only 1 person streaming live tv. time of 22:23 was the issues embyserver(18).txt

How is this device connected to your network? I see response times for playing progress near instantly, 1-2ms, and then durations randomly get really long.

Yup! The new copy was put in a new folder, did a scan, etc...still no metadata. Stats for nerds only lists the stream with no video or audio info (both versions of the playback below). Original: With new tracks added:

I can. Is there anything I need to edit or remove from these before attaching them? I did a find/replace on the downloaded files of my local ip. Not even sure it matters but as I said completely new at this.

Hi, I've done some more testing, and yes, the results are consistent. I've even installed embed on a couple different machines, just to ensure it wasn't the M1 Mac that I'm currently hosting from. I'm also testing with the files on the local SSD's, not over the network or on a NAS, to eliminate any of those issues. Again, same performance. I'd be happy to share a file, though they are pretty large. How would you like to get it?

Hi all. I am trying to add three DTS-MA audio tracks to an MKV using MKVToolNix. I confirmed the tracks are added and playback is fine via VLC media player. In emby, however, none of the audio tracks are listed for selection (even the original tracks) and even during playback, I cannot select the audio track, nor is any other information on the video appearing. Just opened to check the plugin settings and noticed the plugin updated to 10.0.23 so can't say what the exact settings were prior - playback I usually leave as default though. See below as they're set currently. I'll see about getting new logs though - hopefully in the next few hours.

I just got a new device (ugoos/CoreELEC) and I'm having trouble with duplicate libraries. All my TV shows are showing up twice. I have synced them once, they are only in one library. But they're doubled. I then removed the library, and now there is one copy. They even play. I'm not sure how to clean things up. Do I have to do the entire DB reset? EDIT# A factory reset fixed it.

I feel you. However, something I find helps with this process is DVD Compare. They list the extras with run times. So, it still requires to play a file but as soon as you see the duration you’re done. Before I found the site, I would have to do all your steps. It’s such a ball ache.

Downgraded back to 4.7.x.x, 10.0.23 seems to be working fine so will have to further investigate what the issue is with 4.8.x.x transcoding and bumping down to software. Everything is checked off to use hardware, but don't want to thread hijack.

We will get there although that recommendation will still always stand I would say.
