HI, it's in the 3-dot menu. Also in display settings if you disable the option to show logos as titles, then you'll be able to highlight the series name as you are expecting and click that.

To answer the question about the overlay transcoding, this is something experimental that we've been working on that we hope to have enabled by default in future updates. When it's ready of course. When it works, it should perform better. It's just not ready for all use cases yet and so that's why you have to enable it via the diagnostics plugin.

Theater 3.0.20 When using keyboard or an IR remote you cannot navigate to the Series once you're in an episode, the picture will explain all. The Series name highlighted by the yellow box can only be selected by a mouse, which is really inconvenient when you ONLY use an IR remote to navigate. Is this by design, an oversight, a bug, maybe I'm an idiot? It makes sense that hitting up once you're on any of the 4 buttons below it would select it.

Hi Luke, Installed Emby Server 4.9.0.20 beta. This problem still exists. I recorded 3 consecutice programs - same channel - 30 minutes each (+ 5 mins before and 15 mins after) After recordings complete ... The span between [date created] and [date modified] is as expected. However, the [size] and [length] values indicates the problem. The 1st recording contains the first program. The 2nd recording contains the first and second programs. The 3rd recording contains all programs. Logs attached. hardware_detection-63851810294.txt embyserver (5).txt

Thanks, that is the answer i gleaned from your earlier answer. it is only my denseness that asked you to repeat it. Now to think through what i think I want to do so I can do it, i think. I know i need to make some changes to my overall setup, but I do not know exactly what is best for me to do and, at my age, doing something just to test and dismantle it is not near as "fun" as it used to be. - Today

I read this and it seems to want all versions to be in the same folder. This presents a problem when running two Arr apps, one for HD and a second for 4k. So I was trying to understand if this will also work as “supported”. /movies/hd/Awesome Movie (1986)/Awesome Movie 1986 - 1080p.mkv /movies/4k/Awesome Movie (1986)/Awesome Movie 1986 - 2160p.mkv I would add /movies as one library.

Sorry, I have manually merged versions from a few movies. I was trying to find out if I use the folder structure I showed in my post above if Emby will automatically merge the versions under one movie. Currently I have two movie library folders as separate shares on my NAS and I will move the contents into the folder structure that I listed above and rescan to create a single library with versions if it’s expected to work that way.

And yes I have checked the time and date on pc. It is set to cst time.

You would disable the option on the library, note it will apply to all Shows. But note since playback is tracked by providerid all these items will appear twice in Continue Watching/Next Up and watching one will watch both. -
