since update yesterday in movie list I don't have sets anymore every movie is a single item in the list. movie set is checked in video lib settings but no effect. any idea? anything I can do? many thanks!!

I've been using Bulky Editor. Not the easiest thing to pick up and do but once you figure it out it works well for mass replace. Can't speak to Genre Cleaner. Maybe it's easier.

Generic Search is the easiest route. If it wasn't disabled in the script you could multi-select per movie but have to scroll the entire row.

I have multiple drives. All are in 1 Library. Ran out of space on 1 drive and had to move some movies around (drive to drive). When it was done, most were found correctly but it looks like new items as I lost all locked items (Name, Sort Name, Tags), etc. I'm having to redo about a 1000 entries. Anyway to prevent losing metadata when moving? My only thought was I had real time monitoring on and turning it off until the move was complete may have helped.

Is that screenshot a screenshot of one movie you are selecting or is there a place where you can select all a page of people at once?

If I go to Home, My Media, Collections at the top is a count of the number of items. If I go to Movies, Collections (in the header) I get a close but different count. No filters in either view. No TV collections that I am aware of. I do have about 6 manually created collections but the rest are generated from tvdb. The manually generated do show up in both.

In my test I think there is a bug, I searched for first letter B went to People tab. And I only got 50 people, that is not right.

That's the reason I would expect it to be done automatically. If it's possible to create an account at one of those providers and pay of a subscription for api calls and that Emby allowed you to enter an api key for the providers, then that would be a possible solution for having it done automatically.

Just shift click first and last. But a generic search of any three character value. Looks like search as removed the 3 character requirement.

Yeah, this isn't something that would need to be done super regularly, but I've had to manually refresh Eddie Izzard and Elliot Page for pronoun reasons, and there are presumably a number of people who have passed since they were ingested into the system. A way of non-spammily automating it would be neat.

If you watch 5 minutes without problems, it's working, lol. With the Google Play Store Apps you have stuttering at begin (Android App) or no DTS/DTS-HD audio (AndroidTV App). I Use Emby for AndroidTV 2.1.12 beta now and watch a video 30 minutes without problems.

That sounds really time consuming to have to do that manually for each actor/actress. How do I multi-select and refresh the metadata of multiple actors/actresses?

This would be really helpful. My Emby instance is not publicly available and I use a VPN. Android Auto, at least on my my Android 14 phone, detects any kind of VPN (Wireguard with split tunnel just my home subnet), Twingate) and throws out error 21. So meh, AA is pretty useless in my usecase with nio publicly available server. Start audio on the phone so that it becomes available on the AA screen at least (but without cover art) feels wrong.

@Cphusionunfortunately once a person is known to Emby there is no easy way to updated them besides manual per person or search and multi-select as many as you can display or get all their itemids from the database and manually send update calls for each per Emby api. As this really does spam provider sites it is pretty much a once and done design.

Emby 3.3.94 directly from here has definitely no issues with any of these Audio HD formats, did not notice any stuttering of video, but I only watched like 5 minutes of maybe 5 movies to check on the Audio, just got this box today, will investigate a little further.

I'm not using Nginx to reverse proxy but Apache, however I've seen some topics where others Emby working proxying it through Nginx. That's where I would compare your Nginx configuration to. A little Update... This three Apps from the Web here are working: Emby for Android TV 2.1.12 beta- Emby Emby for Android TV 2.1.9g- Emby Emby for Android (Arm7) 3.3.94 - Emby Only the versions from the Google Playstore not working.

Not that I am aware of as the lists are library/parentid restricted. But it looks like you can use the api to get all. http://localhost:8096/emby/Genres?api_key={yourapikey}

I backed up my Emby Server, wiped it off my Mac Mini, and reinstalled and restored the backup and everything seems to be working smoothly now.
