In Theater have you tried the new Group By button? It is right next to the sort button and will allow you to go back to the combined vertical list. All Emby apps will be getting that.

Grimmer started following Is this a typo in the code (HTML?) for the Roku App and Real time monitoring issues on Synology NAS
-
I had a similar problem... after a thorough look into inotify setup/responses and found that it was OK, I figured out that if the server runs into a file permissions issue (more or less anywhere that is being real time monitored) it gives up, makes a file access error log entry, and requires a manual scan to find updates in the file structure. Once the file permissions error was corrected it went back to normal operation. Be sure that your libraries' directory structures are owned by the user 'emby', or at least has adequate permissions to read and write in all libraries' folders. For example, when I did a Synology based backup and restore onto a larger HDD, the highest container folder was owned by root, even though the individual library folders were owned by emby, the RTM would not work. Once I fixed the permissions it was all good. /volume1/EmbyMedia (owned by root after restore) /volume1/EmbyMedia/Library 1 (owned by emby) /volume1/EmbyMedia/Library 2 (owned by emby) ... etc. Changing the owner of '/volume1/EmbyMedia' back to emby fixed the RTM.

When viewing a TV series through the Roku App, the 'View Series' button now says 'HeaderViewSeries':

4.8.0.5 Some Collections are side scrolling
Smitty018210 replied to jiggity's topic in General/Windows
There seems to be no point to arguing with them on this point. This dev team for what ever reason dose not seem to understand that not everyone whats to endlessly horizontal/side scroll through their media. If I could disable all horizontal/side scrolling and have a vertical option instead I would be so happy. I hate horizontal/side scrolling. -
Don't know if this topic will help or not as it has the same error.
-
They're in a movies library, but why does the library setup matter? They're movies. Why are you continuing to ignore the fact that it's impossible to horizontally scroll large collections?
-
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

OK thanks for the info, we’ll take a look at it.
-
Hi, but don’t you want a personal media server and not one that puts your information into the cloud? We work very hard on Emby and thank you for your support.
-
Tvdb. It’s not related to the length of your episode files.
-
This has been resolved and won’t happen anymore in 4.8.5+, although the existing duplicates will need to be manually removed from Emby library setup.
-
Unfortunately, I am not sure why. I suppose these issues could be related. I'm a novice at TrueNAS, but I can do some digging.
-
Missing the point completely. Some collections are made up of a mixture of Movies and shows, some of Seasons and episodes, some of a mixture of movies and episodes. Prior to this whole stupid horizontal sliding restructure, all items form TV, regardless of how they were added simply showed under shows. This new decision is no longer "Media Your Way" it is now do it they way we decided you should do it and we will not explain why we changed it, so just do it!!
-
Hi, please try creating a new collection.
-
It has been actually.
-
If you’re saying you should see entire series instead of the seasons or episodes, then no that delineation is not meaningless if you’re trying to create specific collections of individual episodes. So I would say if the series is what you want in the collection then just add that.

Hi, if you’re talking about your forum account here, then you should have gotten password change emails. That’s the only way unless @Abobader has any tips.

scheduled recordings are lost after put HDHR tuner on new IP address
Luke replied to justinrh's topic in Live TV
Hi, the change of ip address didn’t cause this, it’s the removing and readding of the tuner that did it. Best thing to do next time is just update the tuner address in tuner setup. -
Scan Media Library: What exactly should this task be doing?
Luke replied to cnstarz's topic in Linux
The server thinks your nfo files have changed and therefore starts refreshing metadata to react to that. If you have other software writing nfo files such as sonar, try turning that off. -
-
Hi, please attach the complete Emby server log file. Thanks.
-
Any idea why? Is something out of date?

UPDATE: TV Video Theme seems to be working in the WEB app under chrome, but NOT on the Roku? Are the Movie/TV video themse NOT supported for Roku?
