Roku Beta Channel Updated

Luke

4728 views

While we wait for our new public channel to be approved, the private beta channel has been updated.

https://owner.roku.com/add/MediaBrowserBeta

It features faster seeking while transcoding, improved subtitle support as well as other enhancements.

It also includes some live TV fixes submitted by rewster. We like contributors so if you're enjoying the app feel free to download the source code and hack away.

Instructions for Now TV users can be found here:

Remember this is the only Roku Channel that officially represents the Media Browser project.

Hello Luke,

The feature that shows the time that a movie or tv episode would end based on it's runtime  isnt working on the new roku beta app. That little feature helps to quickly decide to whether or not to start watching something. I know that i can look at the run time and the the clock and do the math myself but i love the feature and if so at least give me the option to activate it . and not remove it completely.  see the picture from the non beta roku app. Thanks for your time. 53d12aaa93f97_rokubeta.jpg
