Another update to our brand new Roku app is rolling out to the store right now. It features a cleaner look, improved playback, video playlist support and more!

 

New, Cleaner Tile Display

Wrap-around Scrolling for all Rows

 

You can now go left from the first item of all rows to quickly get to the end and, when at the end, the items will wrap back around to the front.

Remote Messaging Support

 

Use the new server feature to send messages to users - even during playback!

In addition to the above, the app now supports video playlists (created with the web app) features improved playback and several minor bug fixes. Install or update it now on your compatible Roku device!

Love the Roku app. So much better being able to go into the catagories through the tabs. Thanks for the improvements!!

Liking the new app layout and feel.

 

I have a couple of questions:

 

1. Will Roku support a Guide for LiveTV?

 

2. Will Roku support video backdrops like ET and the Android App?

The app is amazing! Thanks for your hard work.

 

Only difference I notice from the web interface is that the "Latest ... " is not split by the Library items, and just shows everything under "Latest Movies". Otherwise it's very much what I see on the web interface. Great job!
