My login does not work in ROKU client. It found the correct server. Everytime its saying, password is incorrect. I have tried my password on server and different client but still not working. Also tried to uninstalled and reinstalled roku client but still same result. I can able to connect with my iphone client. Please help me out.

At the moment there was a bug introduced in the latest server release. Unfortunately password protected accounts won't work until that is fixed on the server or an update to the Roku client can be introduced. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've submitted a fix for it to Roku. Unfortunately with the holidays it may not be published until the first of the year. Will keep everybody updated.

Wow..so they are released the software without testing it. and login is the first thing before go in to the software. You guys are great.

That's why I prefer Plex over the Media Browser.. Love Plex

I am having the same issue with my password as dks. Please fix!

Client works great for me. Just created a standard user profile without a password.

This update was approved and you should be able to login properly now.

I know there are a few aussie users - so i will take a punt.

 

Has any aussis here running Roku 3 - can you install the clients plex and mediabrowser without geoblocking.

 

I do not want / require netflix etc - i just want plex and mediabrowser to play media locally.

 

Anyone done this - ???

Media Browser is available world wide, so it should be showing up in the Australian Roku store.

gcw07 are you still maintaining a link to enable sideloading onto the nowtv box??

Yes, I plan to for store release versions. Unfortunately I forgot to zip up one for the last release to store as we were going back and forth with the approval team on things and I didn't make one. Things with the channel have since changed, so I can't make one now. When the next version is released there will be one. It will be pinned in the Roku forum.
