Carlo 4330
Hello amstelgr, I'm using Google translate so sorry if the wording is strange. It sounds like your problems are with access not given to the user running Emby. I believe you're running on Synology correct? What user did you install this under? Have you tried checking the user access rights?
amstelgr 0
Hello, sorry but my english is not so good. Yes i use synology. Have released all ports on the router. I also shared the rights to the folder. I configured the firewall and deactivated the firewall on synology. The problem is still there. Error: TrustFailure (Authentication failed, see inner exception.) No application and plugins update. He doesn't accept my Premium key either. Adding users is also not possible. I completely reinstalled synology and Emby too. The problem remains.Plugins catalog is also not possible Edited May 27, 2020 by amstelgr
Carlo 4330
That is clearly telling us you haven't granted the correct access rights to the Emby Server user.
amstelgr 0
I have released everything. You can't share anything with Emby. On synology I gave the folder the right one. Firewall disabled. What else can you unlock on synology
Carlo 4330
I personally don't have a synology so I can't give specifics but you have a permission problem. Emby Server does NOT have proper access to folders. Are you running it native or via docker?
Carlo 4330
Watch this video which covers Emby setup pretty well on Synology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c5S5-kDAxY It might be worthwhile to uninstall your setup and then do it just like this video. amstelgr 0
Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Emby does not run through Docker. Through Emby I can see my folder and see everything in there. My problem is that he does the plugins and applications update and my premium key is blocking. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything as in the video from youtube but the error is still there. Something is blocking my Emby or Synology is blocking Emby but I don't know what. The error is suddenly there.
Carlo 4330
What user does Emby Server run on? Can you show a picture of the directory setting you have applied to this users?
