The TV app definitely has the option. It is under Playback/Audio However, it sounds like you are plugging your headphones into an Amp/Receiver instead of the device that is actually running the app. That means that the app cannot detect this and it is entirely up to the device the phones are plugged into to handle the audio conversion.

Hi, we have the PS4 web app, which also runs on PS5 if you unlock the system browser. The problem for a native app is PlayStation app development is not an open platform that any developer can develop for. To build a PS5 app we would have to become one of their partners.

Date Modified isn't an option. I think that would satisfy the request if it was coded to actual modifications with movie count being a primary mod.

It doesn't seem to matter the version. Currently on 4.9.0.70. If I update to stable 4.9.5.0 all settings and config are erased. Same happens if updatin to beta Emby versions. This only happens on latest TOS 7

Hi Luke, is it possible to add when collection is updated or items in collection increase the collection stack is moved to most recently added status?

Issue #1: In a large music video folder (~1100 items) when you select to 'shuffle' it always picks the same songs, there may be a change here and there, but many of the same songs get played and others never or rarely get touched. Issue #2: When in the same folder and you just hit 'play', it plays in alphabetical order as expected, but the playback stops after about 300 items (the next video icon disappears and after the video is done, it dumps back to the folder view). I would like it to go through all 1100 items not just act like the end of files has been reached. Windows Server / Latest Version - has been an ongoing issue for some time.

because it is sorting on when the movie was added to your library, not when it is added to the collection. the server does not currently keep track of this information.

Have you checked the date created timestamps of your files? date created, not date modified.

Displaying subtitles at the bottom of the stream insted of the bottom back bar of the video screen is a definite showstopper for me. Most non-english native users need subtitles in non-native language videos. It shouldn't be a problem for the player to check is there's "leftover" black bars at the bottom of the [physycal] screen and render the subtitle stream on that area.

Before the update, I had TOS 6 and Emby Server 4.10.0.16 beta installed. Today I updated to TOS 7. The Emby version remained the same: 4.10.0.16. However, all Emby settings were deleted because the settings folder was moved. Updating to 4.10.0.17 didn't help. I had to manually copy the metadata folder from Emby to ffdetected.

Is there a walkthru document on how to setup the current version of the GameBrowser plugin? I've been struggling for a while now trying to set up MAME with zero success. What would be incredibly helpful would be a document explaining what the plugin can do, i.e. do you set it up on the server for use by all clients or does it have to be set up separately for each account or even each device. And if it is for each client, how in the world is that done. A simple walkthru showing the process would be very helpful. I have worked with MAME for many, many years. But I can't figure this out for the life of me. For example, when I go to the add game system, there isn't even an option for MAME. And then I have no idea how to organize artwork and other resources to use with it. Feeling pretty frustrated at the moment. Is there some recommended documentation or videos that might help?

It's hard to dumb things down enough when even plain English is too hard for users to understand. I feel this was addressed properly as it was a nothing burger and would have been posted on the git as per Softworkz and would have made it to the forums. You needed to have a totally obscure codec for starters, and for Emby, it was only a potential DOS, that's it, that's all. All this shows is just how little the masses here understand about computers, and that a little information is far too dangerous for them as this was blown way out of proportion by the fear mongers who demanded Luke's head. If you read the CVE and understood the basics of computers, that was all you needed to understand this was a nothingburger..and yet people still demanded it be dumbed down even further.. If you feel my comment was out of line, please feel free to report it to the admins. Ignorance should not be embraced, and sadly a lot of users here do exactly that.
