I have cinema picture mode which activates ai up scaling not filmmaker. OLED65G51LW dlna via native media app ai scaling works GREAT. Dlna is from emby. But when watching video via native media app from lg tv when i try to skip 15 sec or to any time in bar progress the video crashes. I even used lg tv profile on emby dlna settings. I was hoping to use emby app from web os lg tv but with emby app ai upscaling doesnt work

There is a bug in version 2.3.8 with .ass files
SamES replied to MediaEmby1968's topic in Samsung Smart TV
Can you post or PM a photo showing this screen? It might give some clues as it sounds like it isn't specifically the subtitles that are the issue. -

Hi. Why not get this info from the metadata providers instead?

Torrents have virtually no legal use case so we don't wish to have any integration with them. Thanks.

There is a bug in version 2.3.8 with .ass files
MediaEmby1968 replied to MediaEmby1968's topic in Samsung Smart TV
I can't access that screen; the problem occurs as soon as I click on the episode or movie details where the various options appear, in addition to the "Play" button. Regarding the firewall, I use UFW on Linux. It's the same one I've always used and I've never had any problems. I used it with version 2.3.4 and had no issues. On my server, I use the Brave Browser with its built-in ad blocker disabled. I also have the uBlock Origin ad blocker disabled for the server, and as I said, it's the same setup as always. I've never had any problems until version 2.3.8. Since we can't pinpoint the problem, the only thing I can think of is that something changed in a recent operating system update and is causing the issue. But what's still strange is that it only happens with version 2.3.8. I'm currently using version 2.2.8 of the TV and it's working fine for now. So I'll stick with that. I might decide to uninstall and completely remove Emby one day and reinstall it, just to see what happens, but for now I'll stick with this version until you release a newer one or a newer server version. -

Thanks, but in this case I have it set up correctly as you described. Also, as I mentioned, it worked perfectly in version 2.3.4 and in the version I have installed, which is the one for the TV, 2.2.8. Thanks anyway. -
Library picking up content in another source
BruceCPippin replied to BruceCPippin's topic in Synology
The following folders full of music are not in the "Audio Books" folder yet appear in the "Audio Books" library: - Unknown - Various - Various Artist - Sound Tracks There are others. Screenshot attached. As you see in the screenshot, "Audio Books" is the only folder referenced in the library setup. "Audio Books" contains no music. It is certain that EMBY is including music tracks from a folder called "Music". -
I am running on Apple TV ver 2.0.7 and I still have crashes like the ones before. Subtitles stop showing and shortly after the app closes.

Blueskies278 replied to Blueskies278's topic in Plugins
Ok, I will remove the EmbyTmdbStatus.dll file from my UGREEN iDx6011 Pro and see if I have the same issue. I’m not at my Mac right now, but I will get back to you later. I'm sorry it’s not installing. I will try my best to solve this. If possible could you upload your Emby log? Thanks -

Blueskies278 replied to Blueskies278's topic in Plugins
. 1.Yes 2. You have to copy the EmbyTmdbStatus.dll file to the Emby plugin folder, where all the other plugins are stored. After restarting Emby it should appear in your plugins. Please let me know how you get on. -
right ... i supose i do that first. thank u for your reply and your help.

By "normal exit" do you mean specifically the exit command in the Emby app, or do you include the common Roku method of simply pressing the home button? This matters, because in the Roku the home button is in fact a crash button - the currently running app is stopped dead without any opportunity even to log the happening, let alone report it to the server, which makes cleaning up more difficult. I believe you get that from the people who gave you your static IP BTW you should really delete that post as it contains your IP address @GrimReaper

The scaling on the LG tv should be independent of what is on the screen. Have you enabled filmmaker mode on the TV? That disables almost all picture processing including any AI and upscaling.
