@MrGenius1@ZanderKeen Maybe my plugin can help you out

Hi! I decided to share my fallback plugin for the "Are You Still Watching" function. This lightweight Emby Server plugin automatically stops playback of all (or selected) users at a time you choose, each day. It's a simple and reliable way to make sure streams end when they should, like after bedtime, without relying on individual "Are You Still Watching?" settings within the Emby App themselves. The reason why i created this plugin is because i experience issues with the "Are You Still Watching?" function not stopping playbacks for the users and causing ghost-streams. I am using this plugin myself aswell and experience no issues. The plugin is lightweight, so it runs well even on lower-end hardware. You can find the plugin and more information here: https://github.com/codedbyk0Lm/EmbyPlugin.AreYouStillWatching-Fallback

Yeah you are right it doesnt look good but the problem is box sets have a background under each poster when the plugin applies the overlay banner it includes the whole poster including the bg underneath it. So It seems to go out of the main poster image. Honestly im not sure im gonna be able to fix that because it will affect normal poster views.. but if possible i will provide a separate banner option specifically for box sets. In the meantime may be use a badge instead of banner if that helps

Welcome to Emby. Hope you find what you are looking for here. Emby is great product, and the devs are pretty good about helping out as much as they can.

This is a super long standing issue. When the Android app is running in TV mode, the search results are limited to 15 or so and is a horizontal list. Can we get one tiny fix so that it's like when running on a vertical screen or web browser where the list scrolls vertically and most critically, shows all results instead of cutting them off? I just enabled screen rotation on my phone while horizontal the results are also how I'd like which is non limited and vertically scrolling. Why is there seemingly special code to detect a TV screen ratio and/or running on a TV and severely limiting the feature for all these years? Thanks. - Jason

4K DV/HDR HEVC Remux stutters/freezes with audio passthrough enabled
Interwebz replied to privaty's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
I have just recently seen something similar on ATV. It plays fine for X amount of time, then the playback starts to get laggy/choppy as if frames are dropped. I also have issues where rewinding/forwarding can freeze the playback completely and you have to exit and resume the content to continue. This behavior seems to be recent and after the random ATV crash problem was seemingly fixed in ATV 2.0.7. -
Emby 2.0.3 Apple TV 4K – Emby app crashes during playback (Direct Play) with no server errors
Interwebz replied to Eliran's topic in Apple TV
It appears that the crashes are resolved but something else has happened for me. Rewinding and/or forwarding seems to get stuck so you have to exit the movie and resume. Also, while watching content, the content starts to lag/stutter/or drop in FPS after a while, as if a buffer is getting full. Not sure yet if it's isolated to the content consumed but it has happened to two different movies now. -
A week later and we're still waiting for the LG review to complete... The LG team must be all watching the World Cup rather than doing their jobs. Is there a technical reason why we can't be provided with an IPK? Or is it a legal/licencing reason? Cheers

It appears it has to do with .backgroundContainer.withBackdrop { background-color: var(--ee-darkerGradientPointAlpha) !important; } And HTML <div class="backgroundContainer withBackdrop backgroundContainer-transparent"></div>

Emby for Android on Shield TV no longer passing through dolby digital 5.1 or DTS
Kramerika replied to Kramerika's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
I sent a log after starting Avengers Age of Ultron which has DTS sound but is not playing any audio. I updated my post above with some new information as I did get it to work on one of my Shield TVs. I also tried the regular Android app on the one that does not work, and the audio was direct playing as it should. It feels like the update to the Android TV version in combination with something specific to the audio connection is causing the issue. The Shield TV is connected to the TV by HDMI. The TV passes through the signal to the sound bar with an optical cable. Also sent logs for Descendants for DD AC3 5.1 and a Seinfeld episode that is DD AC3 2.0 stereo. -
Hi, what do you mean by "it just goes off" ?

Whitelist Request for Artists with Slash in Name

Will do ! -
Personally don't think it matters. Unless a batch has a serious flaw i don't see hard drives die within a meaningful time frame that could cost any data when running with parity/raid. Last time i heard of such a flaw was with the Matrox DeskStars (Also known as DeathStars) in the 201x's. Had two of them my self and even then there was 3 months between them dying. Ofc. nothing wrong in being careful.
