EMBY_PLAYLIST_STUDIO_COMUNIDAD_v1.7.1.zip -

Before anyone can say whether this is a bug, a config issue, or a genuine gap, it would help a lot to know exactly what you're running. Could you post: **Hardware / host** - CPU and GPU (exact model — e.g. i5-12500 with UHD 770, or GTX 1660, or an AMD APU) - OS, and whether Emby is bare metal, Docker, or a NAS package **Emby config** - Emby Server version - Which hardware acceleration backend you have selected (QSV, NVENC, VA-API, AMF, none) - Which tone mapping option you're using, and the values you have for the tone mapping parameters if you've touched them - A transcode log from one of the bad playbacks — that shows the exact filter chain being built, which is the single most useful thing here **Source and client** - Is the source HDR10, HLG, or Dolby Vision? If DV, which profile? Profile 5 in particular has no usable HDR10 base layer, and washed-out or oversaturated output on that is expected behaviour rather than a tone mapping quality problem - Bit depth and codec of the file - Which client and device, and whether it's transcoding because of bandwidth, codec, or subtitle burn-in With the transcode log and the source details, it should be fairly quick to tell whether you're hitting a known limitation, a missing runtime, or something worth filing.

at the risk of sounding rude, or like a karen/kevin, I'm going to be frank, this is now unacceptable. a few years ago, this could be ignored. but if this isnt resolved in a few months, and i cant write a pugin to fix it, this organization going to be 5 bucks a month poorer unless you can tell me how one fixes this? but my instincts say "thats the neat thing; you dont!" none of the three whole entire tone map options we have do anything close to something watchable for me. I'm literally paying for color saturation, banding, and artifacts, while two free options can do this well this MUST be addressed. And as a monthly paying customer for more than half a decade, the $500 of my money you have should get me more than this. I feel i deserve an explanation for why it hasn't been addressed, and an eta for when it will be addressed. i am a developer, i understand it takes time, testing, but the deadline is near, if not here.

I still get the category, Sci-Fi, even if I manually delete it from the database. And there are no entries in the genre either, so shouldn't be there anyway. Yet after forced removal, sure enough, a few days later, the category returns. The same goes for the Sport genre. No entries, yet it still shows up in the list. Remove them - change/add nothing. The stay gone for a few days, and then they're back.

We’ve discussed this. HAL is under strict instructions not to lock the pod bay doors. I didnt just want remote access to HAL, that is way too easy, i needed to create a command-and-control infrastructure that healed itself. Learned a lot, not so easy... -

Did you install the cinema intros addon on the server? On Emby server nothing needs to be configured. Emby for kodi addon just uses Emby server as a trailer source. The configuration for the trailes are all done by Kodi addon. -

That ended up being the trick. I didn't realize that 12.x wasn't in stable. I uninstalled everything. Installed both repos. Installed the 10.x "video service" which by default installed 11.x of the "service" add-on. Eventually I was able to update that to 12.x. All seems to be working now. -

Blueskies278 replied to Blueskies278's topic in Plugins
it was hardcoded top-left, which was a decision i made. Next build adds a position setting: four corners plus top/bottom centre. One thing worth knowing: Emby draws its own unwatched-episode count in the top-right corner, so if you pick that the two will sit next to each other. Top-left is the default because most key art leaves that corner clear. Added -
Your device does not support HEVC. Please do not use the PCE-I slot for more sata, you would be better off to spend the money on an inexpensive Quadro card, and in the distant future, UPGRADE your "potato" UNRAID system. You're not going to be buying hard drives anytime soon with current prices, so buying an HBA is not exactly a smart move. When prices do finally come down, you would be advised to not only upgrade your MB/CPU, but also your case, quite possibly to a diskshelf.

There isn't a trailer library in my Emby libraries, but I could create one and have it point to the folder containing my trailers. Is that what you mean? And what settings would I need to configure in the Emby plugin settings under the “Cinema” section? -

What's the current state of the MVP vs Native Player in the AppleTV Client
vdatanet replied to Lostboy66's topic in Apple TV
Achieving true Dolby Vision passthrough or playback on an Apple TV 4K using an mpv-based player stack is currently not possible, tvOS exclusively routes Dolby Vision and spatial/Atmos metadata through Apple’s native AVPlayer framework which brings us back to the same thing: support for HLS with fMP4 and remuxing, so the Apple TV could play HEVC HDR and DV natively without transcoding. It's as simple as that. -

The manage libraries menu will show you a "Trailer" library that can be synced. After that, the remote trailer selection should look like in the screen shot. But I didn't test the Vantage point addon. Not sure if it works in Kodi, depends how it plays the trailers... -

Don't know what was your intention for badge placement, but since you're still building: could you give us an option where to actually place it on the image? Thanks.
