On the iOS app, the PIN is fully visible when entering it. On the web app and Samsung TV app, it is hidden by dots. Obviously, this is poor security practice. I couldn't find anything here mentioning this. Can this be fixed, please? iOS: 26.6 App: Emby for iOS 2.2.56 Server: 4.9.5.0

You now have a professional modern look and it's very "on-brand" associating the distinctive Emby logo with the value propositions, through to the details and the action buttons, by using the Emby green color throughout, without overdoing it. Home Screen shows Series thumb by default, which cannot/doesn't have any of the treatments few plugins offer for episode images. Series thumb takes priority over episode primary image. Episode thumb takes priority over series thumb. I've elaborated on that years ago (2023).

Right so I think if you set that to No and whitelist the CF ip ranges, it should only respond to traffic coming from CF. The drawback is emby can't see the actual ip address of anyone connecting to you through CF. (But you could still track that info on CF's site.) I should say I'm only suggesting this as a temporary solution until you get it figured out with NGINX or a firewall of some sort.

Ah gotcha, I kicked off the scan library from the scheduled task section and see the same behavior RAM usage increases but never comes back down. Now at 7GB used.

I've just logged a new ticket but assume this is my issue as well. 2 new LG QNED TV which both lag like mad after a few seconds. Is there actually any update from emby on this as all comments are just we are still looking at this for months now.

I mean a library scan from the task schedule menu. Running that normally returns memory usage back to normal for me.

Ive been speaking with ROKU support escalating a a defect or at least trying to. Interestingly, I did a hard reset on the problematic TV, and re installed Emby. MeTV now is back to not being able to load at all which was a previous Item I escalated here, Luke had responded that it was being looked into.

Hi All, I recently upgraded my old LG TV to a QNED and also brought one for my daughters bedroom. Both have the latest emby app installed however they both suffer from extreme lag to the point the apps unusable. When I watch emby on the android app there are no issues. All devices are connected to WiFi which is a unifi U6 LR ap. Emby server is running on a Synology ds415 play. I've rebooted the router, AP, synology etc however is slow to load, search and when playing i just get a spinning wheel of death. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
