There seems to be multiple issues with the Emby Xbox app here lately. One issue is that every live channel from my hdhomerun is now being deinterlaced and transcoded. Previously I'm pretty sure everything was working through direct play. Nothing has been changed other than a recent Emby server update. Another issue is some channels just won't work and show a black screen like my local fox channel. It'll say it's converting the stream to a compatible container but ends up not showing. Again this channel worked previously. Also, all of this works on my other devices such as direct play and channel 8 but I have multiple Xbox consoles in the house that I've loved using Emby with.

On Emby 4.9.5.0 (Synology) and Trakt plugin v3.8.3.0 I confirm the same error, also for the 100 "shows' that are returned I get the following error "Debug Trakt: No Season match in Watched shows list Episode: 1x5 'Remember It' Series: 'X-Men '97'" Sound like the format that the info is returned for TV shows is no longer recognized by Emby. IT works fine for Movies (the 100 returned) - i get "Debug Trakt: Movie is in Watched list Cube" I also see this in the logs 2026-07-12 21:49:34.151 Info Trakt: Trakt.tv watched Movies count = 100 2026-07-12 21:49:34.151 Info Trakt: Trakt.tv watched Shows count = 100 2026-07-12 21:49:34.151 Info Trakt: Trakt.tv playback Movies count = 0 2026-07-12 21:49:34.151 Info Trakt: Trakt.tv playback Episodes count = 1

So Meta quest 3 and 3s you can connect to emby server and watch 3d movies. I will make a video in the morning how to watch emby movies in 3d.

Hi! Well, i run my Emby server on a Win 11 PC and i got backrops as metadata for my screensaver and it pops up on my clients, in this case an Nvidia Shield and a ZTE 4K Stick. I havent any experience with any kind of Roku device but when looking at the specs i dont see any reason why it wouldnt work. My settings, in Swedish, but im sure you get the picture:) And you also have other third-party screensavers for Android like Gfolio and others that will let music keep playing in the background Cheers mate!

I would try picking ne, blanking out the email address, saving, and then adding it back. Please see if that helps.

Topic is why? Why would someone ever pirate stuff and add it to an emby server well I pay $300 a month to have all I watch with NO ads. Its life bro i dont want ads when i pay monthly no i want what i want when i want. Its life!
