I'll look into it! Have you made those collections using the plugin? If not - the plugin cannot update them on a scheduled basis. You have to use the Home Screen Companion plugin to create your collections for you, then it will auto update them. Regarding imports from ACdb i would recommend going to the equivalent MDBList and use that URL to create a collection. Not sayin you shouldn't use ACdb, just that it will work better for this plugin to use the MDBList url instead. (I beleve all list on ACdb are just another way to present lists that are already on MDBList) You will find the link to the corresponding MDBList here:

I just looked and no filters I can see. Verified this with three devices. TV (Roku), Laptop, and S26ULTRA..

@davidawarnerCan be something as simple as a filter you have enabled in the client? It sometimes fools me when i forget to remove it.

Not sure if this helps but the directory is: 10.190.39.5\Video\Music There is a combination of mpg and mp4 video files. I mentioned when I drop a new video and to another directory like my movies or if it's a music file emby's not picking it up. I have to actually search the files or the library metadata so that way it populates to the UI of MB Ideas?

Hi Luke, thanks. We coded a small VLCShim.exe and Emby Theater does launch it, but the shim receives zero parameters — no path, no URL, nothing. What parameter substitutions does Emby Theater support for external players? For example: %path% %url% %id% %arg1% -or- Does Emby Theater place values in a file somewhere ? If so location ? Can you provide an example of a working external player entry showing how Theater substitutes these values? Thanks in advance Jan

Friends, Few years ago, Luke helped me with EMBY where files (MP3/MP4) were not updating when I copied to the paths EMBY is monitoring. For sometime now, I have noticed this issue creep up again. I noticed my entire collection of \\10.190.39.5\Video\Music Concerts are not displaying MP4 videos. EMBY server is hosted to my SynologyNAS. Haven't seen issue's with other video or mp3 folders displaying. Could use assistance EMBY team. Attached are my server texts. Not sure where to go from here. you were right. i had to turn off IE Enhanced Security Configuration on the server. not sure what has changed since i have been running this server for many years and never encountered this before, but once i turned off IE ESC, file downloaded and updated no issues. guess that will have to be a part of my update process moving forward. thanks guys.
