OK we'll take a look at it. Thanks.

Hi, what exactly do you mean by random? There is no randomization that is part of this feature.

i disagree the feature isn't broken. i didn't use my computer at all. and setting was on.. To me that means the feature is clearly broken.. It does not work properly on the Windows app... Personally i don't see what it that hard about changing a line of code from random to 2-3... Like i said in my post, this random business isn't efficient for anyone running your apps..

It means the whole name; there are situations when part of the name may be assumed. Paul

But that isn't a reason not to give the information asked for; you'd want to help the devs fix any problems if they are ones you and your friends care about, right? Developers like to see logs and full descriptions of what you are experiencing - and Luke is chief developer, so he'd know. And details matter. Audio problems are often a matter of what devices are connected and the settings in those devices, as well as the app trying to pull things together. A search in the forum should find threads dealing with that kind of issue. Paul

Hey guys, took a little bit of a breather after the last release, I'll have a new plugin version out this week with these things ironed out. If you got time to submit an issue on github so I can track it better with the others, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
-
Think this will ever be capable of being added to actual plugins?
-
Its the old Emby electron based app available on Github. Its not a 3rd party app.

abroadhursthall started following BUG: iOS App - PIN Visible
-
On the iOS app, the PIN is fully visible when entering it. On the web app and Samsung TV app, it is hidden by dots. Obviously, this is poor security practice. I couldn't find anything here mentioning this. Can this be fixed, please? iOS: 26.6 App: Emby for iOS 2.2.56 Server: 4.9.5.0

Very nice work guys!. You now have a professional modern look and it's very "on-brand" associating the distinctive Emby logo with the value propositions, through to the details and the action buttons, by using the Emby green color throughout, without overdoing it. I hope this new design achieves what you wanted it to and helps to draw in many new customers, for ongoing success!

Home Screen shows Series thumb by default, which cannot/doesn't have any of the treatments few plugins offer for episode images. Series thumb takes priority over episode primary image. Episode thumb takes priority over series thumb. I've elaborated on that years ago (2023).

High RAM usage on Emby Server 4.9.3.0 even with Direct Play and rclone mounts

Damn, sorry to hear that. Well.. Was worth a try since it works for me. -
Right so I think if you set that to No and whitelist the CF ip ranges, it should only respond to traffic coming from CF. The drawback is emby can't see the actual ip address of anyone connecting to you through CF. (But you could still track that info on CF's site.) I should say I'm only suggesting this as a temporary solution until you get it figured out with NGINX or a firewall of some sort.

That may well be, but the person in question is part of the Emby team known as Administrators—Luke is one of them.

High RAM usage on Emby Server 4.9.3.0 even with Direct Play and rclone mounts

Ah gotcha, I kicked off the scan library from the scheduled task section and see the same behavior RAM usage increases but never comes back down. Now at 7GB used. -
The "skip intro" button simply doesn't appear.

This is the server block at present: server { listen [::]:[port] ssl http2; ## Listens on port [port] IPv6 with http2 and ssl enabled listen [port] ssl http2; ## Listens on port [port] IPv4 with http2 and ssl enabled proxy_buffering off; ## Sends data as fast as it can not buffering large chunks. server_name [my domain]; ## enter your service name and domain name here access_log emby.log emby; ## Creates a log file with this name and the log info above. ## SSL SETTINGS ## ssl_session_timeout 30m; ssl_protocols TLSv1.2 TLSv1.1 TLSv1; ssl_certificate /etc/nginx/cert.pem; ## Location of your public PEM file. ssl_certificate_key /etc/nginx/private.key; ## Location of your private PEM file. ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:10m; location ^~ /swagger { ## Disables access to swagger interface return 404; } So it already has the server name thing in there, but not the stuif bit. Not quite sure what to change? There's also another server block that returns a 301 to an HTTP connection.

Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!

I am more than happy to report External Player Launcher now working like a champ ! For those wondering, what did it was a simple Firefox Repair (built in refresh).
-
It's currently set to “Yes,” though I don't know what that setting does or what it means. Does that mean anything distinct from just “domain name”?

For most people on desktop computers they are easier on the eyes. Also, when most of the screengrabs being shown off are dark, the light theme works better there too.
