It's mostly the same. Maybe minor difference in favor of the TV app, but just maybe.But what I clearly see is the difference in cover art quality in favor of the TV app. You can see for yourself that on one of them you can see some details and on the other everything is blurry.

Remove Identification - does not remove Movie poster image ( if that's already scanned). Other information is removed. But when I select "Identify" and put in the imdb id, it shows right movie in results - but when I select it - the final movie and meta data is from completely wrong movie. This has happened twice in last few days. Raising it here - so if others have also experienced it - they can report. -

This does happen on large libraries and if you are getting an OOM only once a week, I would not consider that to be excessive whilst Emby Server has this issue with how memory is allocated. You have not indicated if you have removed / disabled the TimeLordTV plugin to see if it is a factor -

What do you mean by that? There's Identify (ditto Remove Identification) dropdown selection present on any identifiable item. - Today

The windows app doesn’t work properly either. You will need to be patient while emby fixes the iOS app.

But is working on all at her clients. Android, Samsung and lg. Only on iOS not working.

Doesn’t look like it. Using YouTube as a source for trailers seems increasingly problematic. If there was a paid alternative emby could use I’d be keen.

It's still the same. Same error. As I said before, I'll leave it for the near future, until I either uninstall Emby or have to format my PC. I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times and several versions. And it's always the same. I'll wait until I have many more versions or until I have to do what I mentioned before. Thanks everyone. -
Emby search (in IOS app) is getting worse day by day. I know there are pending requests to search by IMDB id (for several months and years now) - but the current search (on ios devices) is absolutely horrendous! It shows everything! What's the point of a search if you will show 200 results? Even after filtering via movie/ tv show? The emby search in apple ecosystem is a nightmare! I have to go to my windows system on a browser and use "quotes" to get proper results. Please someone fix this. It's not that difficult. Especially since you have this option on windows.

I am seeing more instances of Emby misidentifying movies in the first scan. Usually - when this happens, Removing id and rescanning or by giving correct imdb id - the library scan generally gets it right second time. But now, once movie is misidentified.. there is nothing I can do to remove the wrong movie info. The only option I have is to manually add everything and lock the meta data so it does not change. This is very cumbersome. I do not know if this problem is due to IMDB security upgrades or a basic problem with Emby library scanning. I am using emby server 4.9.5.0 and the current movie I am facing problem with is Pierre (1977) which somehow it identifies as Star Wars (1977). -

I would suggest building a dedicated server and use something like Unraid or Truenas. If you insist on using Windows then look up "Windows Storage spaces" as that is what is used in Windows to manage larger storage/raids.

The last Android release is here: https://github.com/EmbySupport/Emby.WMC.UI/releases/tag/0.125.0 It is from 2024, but it IS the CURRENT version for Android. The reason why there were so many updates for WMC Windows and not for WMC Android is that WMC Windows is built on the new Emby.Client platform and the Android flavor not - yet. This will change very soon, though.

Would one of the devs please answer this question? I’m would love to have the WMC App running on Android TV even as the main Launcher, but can’t find a current build. Imagine turning on your TV and you are straight in the WMC interface with all your emby Server content. And if you then would have the possibility to pin selected Android TV Apps to an App row in the main WMC menu it would be the perfect experience. so could someone please confirm that this is still considered for Android TV and when current build will be available again for download. Thanks for the support

Emby Beta 4.10.0.15+: Crashing due to Out of Memory on DS918+ Package Center Install

It got very close to an OOM memory event 14hrs after initiating the script. After initiating a library scan, memory usage by Emby went from 1.18GB to 1.8GB (approx). There was still enough ram available so Emby was able to recover. It was a bit sluggish. But still responsive. I'm not sure what caused the spike.
