I have longtime accounts for getting content at closed communities and can get any content that I want for free and could use Emby for organization and playback of it. However I have settled for a happy medium. There is content that is not readily available or spread among multiple services because it is done in other countries like Australia and New Zealand or the UK. In addition there are niche sites that offer content that is not available anywhere else. From those sites the content I like I get via ways that I have done so for decades, In addition I have subscribed to a few streaming accounts that I like because of its content and available sports. I subscribed to Apple TV+ because of F1 and it has excellent SciFi and premier content to boot. I also have Netflix now for as long as I can remember plus will evaluate Paramount+, Peacock, ESPN+ at the next yearly renewal. I agree that the network suits don't care as long as the bottom line flatters the investors. Firefly anyone? The pilot had to be rewritten in days because the suits didn't like it and cause massive confusion among viewers until about 3 episodes in when the original pilot aired. If this is how they deal with content creators, the consumers have no chance at all.

Hi im so sorry but i just installed it and on both my iPad app and desktop the homepage is empty. I should delete and reinstale on my desktop where the server is based is that right?

Yes I did. My problem has been resolved through DDNS and so far everything is fine. I will let go this domain thing for now maybe some other day. thank you for your interest and help. Till the next time.

Is there any help on this. Googled, Gemini, ChatGPT, everything I can think of. It's always the same answer, something like: "After an update (must be long ago) the developer removed the option to set burn in or other settings for transcoding subtitles". And I would say I agree, there is very limited options for subtitles, in my head it was more options before. Force burnin etc... This is not a good thing, it works at once I push the "fix playback" option while playing the series. So I know it works. And as far as I understand this is a problem of the player used on Nvidia Shield's, so subtitles like this have to be burned in. Let's have it as a choice as it has been before. (If I remember right) In my opinion, I didn't think this should be a problem anymore. Subtitles there is....

Look at a task manager on the machine where it is installed or just access from a browser.

@StreetGuest9i used the Bulky plugin to do this. I then stay on top of it by manually deleting the studio tag as and when I add new movies. It has been a lot better since I did this. I still get the odd curve ball due to other tags and collections I have. Also not sure how easy it is to readd the studio tag if you ever want to use it again. Hope it helps

Before we can attempt to address it, I will need someone with the issue to do this, however. I cannot reproduce on any of my test systems either. Thanks.

Hi. I'm sure that is a coincidence. Are you sure your server is running? Can you access it from a browser? Did you change anything else when putting in your Premiere key?

Hello, I hope you are well and I am hoping that you can assist me. I have been using Emby on my Android device and two Apple devices. Yesterday I switched to Emby Premiere but then it has stopped working on my Apple devices. It signs on but does not work, and I get an error message (please see attached). Now as I was writing this, Emby is not working on my Android device either. I have rebooted my devices, and I have removed and re-added the devices, but none if that has fixed it. Please advise, thank you.

It only changes the password for your Emby account, not your Synology account. I'm not sure if that was your question though...

I know this is old but how do you mass delete the studio tags? Is there a way? I recently discovered that the More Like This category does not recommend correct (relevant) things and would like to hopefully fix it by deleting studio tags.

Since this plugin is not in the emby catalog it wont update automatically. you need to manually download the plugin and copy and paste it to the emby plugin folder every time new update is released. V 1.3.3.0 is the latest.

Hello, I was reading the documentation about audio book naming (here: https://emby.media/support/articles/Audio-Book-Naming.html) (I know I'm a nerd) I notice they mention the track names should be something like "1- Chapter 1.mp3" etcetera, I'm wondering how brittle this is. For example, the second audio book I went to rip has three sections before Chapter 1 numbered 000A - 00C (with the names "Introduction, Fact About CERN, and Prologue). Then three chapters on the first disc are broken up into two parts (files), for example 07A and 07B. Is this going to break things in display for the book? There are 15 discs in the book so I thought I'd ask before I rip it, at least see what I'm getting into. Thanks for your time, HS
