Aha... The only other thing I can mention that might help is that you do have control over which libraries each user can see. If you limit the children only to libraries of family and children type of media, then when they login that should be all they see. Their adult parent can login with their user name and see other libraries. I am not sure if trailers would also sort correctly in for kids with limited access to only their libraries. Then the subtitles is whole other issue. It is tricky. Hope that helps.

Thanks.. your probably right and it was scanning and cleaning up the location. I just helped it out, and took cleanup out of the equation. I had it scanning all day and it's 95% through.

Hi, what do you mean by playlist? The m3u tuner is for a an m3u channel list. It's not usually referred to as a playlist because it contains a list of channels inside.

yes it does. all subtitle options are showing up, but when selecting subrip subs, it "hangs" for like 30 seconds and then says playback failed.

Good question, the plugin reads it automatically. Emby stores each item's runtime (RunTimeTicks), and the plugin sends it as duration_ms on every lookup. For STRM files Emby can't probe the actual file, but it usually still has a runtime from the metadata providers (TMDB/TVDB), so the plugin uses that the same way. There's also a tolerance of about 2 minutes on matching, so small differences between the metadata runtime and the real stream don't cause a mismatch. This could cause issues for extended cuts, but if you’re using strm files, it’s likely you’re using the theatrical cut anyway.

There cannot possibly be any acceptable reason of any kind for breaking a feature like this and not fixing it at this point.

I’ve successfully fixed the port issue with my Trakt Air date plugin.

Ok - was on the road again for the last week, just got back - happening again. Repro'd the issue: browsed the menu, played a title, didn't work. Restarted the TV and emby server, restarted emby for android tv, browsed to the title, tried to play it. Black screen. No remote buttons responded other than Home. Went back into Emby, found the Send Logs option, and sent them just now (around 8:30pm EDT on 08/14/26). Hopefully it collects logs across app starts? Also that article asks for the name of the title "The Invite" and user "daddy"
