Looks like that without any metadata and single videos not as awhole channel plus when i do refresh internet channels gott messed up and disappears and comes under latest media of my categories

This is a stupid Alexa behavior.. so to get around it, what I have found that works is the following Tell Alexa, open Ear Wax After Ear Wax responds with What would you like to hear, Say Ask Ear Wax to play some music... You should be good to go. You should only have to do this, Open Ear Wax, ONE time Btw, Amazon is looking into this issue on why Alexa is hijacking the command and sending it a music provider. You can also try to disable and reenable the skill. Please tell me your location. I am in the U.S. and this rarely happens to me. Keep me informed

Okay well asking ear wax provider status worked once for emby and when I asked it to play music it would not play from emby however. But Amazon. Ear wax play some music. Then I tried my plex, it connects on the setup page but when I ask ear wax provider status my device gives me a “not sure how to help you with that”.

Just confirmed one of the videos the pop up appeared for is only 2 minutes long. This seems to be showing up in all the clients I've tested so far. Windows and Theater as well.

I’ve just released v2.0.8.10, which fixes an issue where the YouTube player or an ad could remain active and continue playing over the next Emby item.

I’ve just published a new release that should fix this. Please update the plugin and restart Emby Server. Then add a Latest Media row in the Home Screen settings and select only the YouTube library. With “Show YouTube root folders at Emby’s top level” enabled, each YouTube channel should now appear as its own row.

For those that seem clueless Apple did not use the same layout for all devices.

Just tested Windows client and no 'Up Next' pop up on videos over 5 minutes. Is there a setting for this threshold on server or client side?

You're right MarvinB, I was using the display name and not the actual user id which I discovered is the string of letters and numbers in my url when viewing the emby dashboard. I was able to successfully connect this time. Thank you. I have not yet tested "ask provider status" but will play around it with it later and possibly even compare the experience between emby and plex as well. I was getting very tired and frustrated with the stock Emby skill and how it would play the same thing all the time haha. thanks again for this skill!

Thanks. I think I may see the issue. Ear Wax requires your Emby User ID, not your Emby username/display name. On the Ear Wax setup page, this is the field labeled Emby User ID, with the instruction to enter the ID rather than the display name. Can you confirm whether you entered your actual Emby User ID in that field, or your Emby username? If you entered the username, please replace it with the User ID and try the connection again. If you already entered the User ID and are still getting HTTP 500, let me know and I'll investigate the validation failure further.

Doing meta refresh, missing information and replace images indeed does set it to the highest resolution, but that in turn also changes it for HD-Only users. My method means 4K for 4K+HD and HD for HD only.

I'm sure there's stuff happening, but the testing area for Apple TV is pretty dry. Not really telling what is being worked on.

I haven't tracked down any issue. If it is a huge problem for you, you can use the standard app.

question for understanding. I have set a schedule for the plugin to run for 18 hours every day (as it needs to get through my whole library which will take a while). The schedule screen shows the plugin ran correctly, but only for ~40 mins (1st screenshot). When I run it manually, it states it needs ~450 hrs to complete (2nd screenshot). Why is the scheduled task not running for the full 18 hours?
