Yeah, that has changed too. The update (26.0.22) in style.css is causing this. There were a lot of edits to how opacity is used which is causing the text to not show up and the black bars.

Do you really have HUNDREDS (700?!?) devices? The Emby license is for one household. There might be a way to better sniff the devices.

Yeah, when i asked the AI for a summery it did mention that. It does help having those methods available. I don't see this as being too difficult, just a lot of lines to edit and making sure to catch them all.

Technically it's good to go already. The only holdup is that releasing as stable now would create a gap in coverage of RPi4 devices, so we're waiting a little longer until we got that done and tested in the beta. Unless you actually do have such device, you're much better off with the beta right now already. It's been published in January and only very few bugs have surfaced (and fixed) since then.

Hi Emby Team, Even I moved to Infuse in 2024 as my main client in apple tv because the improved compatibility with videos, improved options on remembering speed, etc. After the release of the new server version I wanted to give it a try again to Emby Client and I've found some issues: 1st.- My Media I've configured "My Media" with Scroll Direction "vertical" on the server: This results on my web client to be shown: Instead of this AppleTV App and iOS app are ignoring this configuration and presenting it with "Horitzontal Scroll": 2nd.- Music Videos: I've a library with music videos that are shown by default with poster view: When you enter a video and it's linked to an artist, even if the video itself has no backdrops configured, this shows images from the backdrops of the artist: (No Backdrops configured for the video) Images from Artist shown as backdrop for the video: Artist Images configured in the Artist view: Well Apple TV, ignores that and present the poster in the middle of the screen: 3rd.- Music In web interface you can see the lyrics of a song if those are defined: This option is not available on AppleTV even it was in 2022 and was removed: WHEN will it be back ?? Additionally when playing a song from album view in apple tv (Go to an album, select a song, play), in the lower bottom you can see "More from ARTIST" where other albums ar presented, below this there's an option with "More Like This" where in all the cases I've tried does nothing than showing exactly the same as "More from ARTIST". I expect that if the client suggest more like this present different options than More from Artist, otherwhis this is unuseful. 4.- Options - Login Most of the people that deploys the client on apple tv has more than 1 user at home, and does not want to "close session" to change user. With 26.0.23 the slideshow now cycles but the movie name and date are still missing Also, there are black bars on either side of the image during the slideshow. Hi, I’m having the following problem: When I play a movie with DTS-HD audio using Emby on my Nvidia Shield TV (Android TV) and then pause, rewind, or resume playback, the video starts to stutter while the audio continues playing normally. I have to rewind about 20 seconds before it eventually recovers and the picture is fine again. This only happens with DTS-HD; other audio tracks work without any issues. Is there a way to fix this, or what is causing the problem?

I quite like emby I use it daily and so does my family but why does it feel like a sinking ship does no one care anymore what the customers want I don't even like posting this sort of thing but I pay for emby yet feel like I'm always looking for something to replace it because nothing ever gets done with the UI look and feel. I just want trailers in the top right that auto plays on the home screen for the love of jesus is it ever going to bloody happen ?

If you use the options in the app to disable direct stream of live TV then that will make it more like the TV app.
