2 questions both are related....... 1. Have not bought any hard drives in a year. WOW. Even remanufactured drives are twice what a good drive was. Non-standard suggestions for finding a deal? Which leads me to..... 2. Do you back up all your data? I currently have a CENMATE 8 bay external enclosure with 6 x 8TB, 1x18TB, 1x20TB. Plus have a duplicate box I keep offsite with a duplicate mirrored set. It's awful tempting to use those mirrored drives but I know 1 will crap out eventually.

I opened a thread in this subforum but I'm having issues with playback reporting in Emby. Cross posting here as well:

Please see attached logs. In this case I played a movie for about a minute before stopping playback. I did this to try and capture logs for reporting here. Earlier in the evening I was watching something else and the Emby Dashboard Activity reported a start / stop of playback immediately even though I watched the entire episode (~54 minutes). I've tried reconfiguring the plugin and rebooting the device. Neither has worked. I had to recreate some of the playlist and now it stops the playlist whenever I ask it next song. I noticed that in the "\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\userplaylists" that some of the playlist had "Party [playlist] - 1" in the folder names with the original not with the " - 1" in the folder name where the playlist was pointing to the m3u file. I was able to get it working again by disabling and reenabling the Alexa Emby skill. Hopefully this helps someone with the same issue.

Why are you attempting to install Emby Server on a phone. It is not designed to run from a phone..

You're paying for a private, PIRATE server that is against the TOS for Emby. No one will help you.

uh what? You aren't being silly and thinking of running an Emby server off your phone, are you? You've given the community basically nothing to work with as your space and ram mean nothing if the processor in your device is a potato.

26.0.12 is the final call. New user functional change is complete.

It is amazing that the other software can do adaptive streaming. It is pretty new but still. At least we have adaptive streaming somewhere. Testing it now.

As more features have been added i have had to change the arguments sent to FFmpeg and the fix could get lost with that. It should be fixed now and works in my testing as it was just reverting/copying from the old version. It will be added in the catalog as beta version 2.7.0.8 in a minute. Please report back if it fixed the problem.

Yes, I just noticed that. I also noticed when highlighting my username, which shows (Change User), and selecting it brings up the original pulldown menu. Is this the new intended menu design? I see update 26.0.12 which now brings up this menu when the "User" icon is selected, just like the left arrow menu. It still lacks all the options the previous drop menu provided, like "Change Server". To Change Server I have to go to the exit menu. And yes, this is Emby Theater 3.0.20/21 the legacy version.

SMB problems occured in the first version then has been fixed, and is no longer working after 2.4.7. So, one days it worked Thanks for your investigation.

Looking in the logs, it might be because you are using SMB shares for your videos. Will look into it right away.
