Good day all, Well unfortunately one of the machines in my rack has decided it is time to finally R.I.P.. I had two machines, one dedicated for Emby and one dedicated for media "organization", it is the later that died after about 15 years of use. Although it does suck, it does present the opportunity to build a newer, still dedicated, Emby server and take advantage of tech upgrades over the past 6ish years, the age of my current Emby server, and move the current Emby hardware into the "organization" role. Although likely overkill, I have specced out the following: Intel Core i5-14600K - Core i5 14th Gen 14-Core (6P+8E) LGA 1700 125W Intel UHD Graphics 770 Processor ASUS B760M-AYW WIFI D4 II LGA 1700 Intel B760 Micro ATX Motherboard G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18D-32GVK Team Group T-FORCE G50 M.2 2280 512GB PCIe 4.0 x4 with NVMe 1.4 TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) TM8FFE512G0C129 Wanting to do a sanity check to make sure I am not missing anything obvious. System will be/is feed media from a 45-bay Supermicro storage JBOD and has multiple, say 10, external users as well as 2 internal users. Unfortunately I may not be able to manually remove/re-add everything as there are hundreds of albums (even just looking at Kanye, he has lots of works he's tagged on). I was hoping that re-saving the songs/albums in question would make Emby rescan and clear out the bad identifications for me. @user24I have been doing the same exact thing you mentioned, and even have a few related threads (here and here) where I do those exact steps to get certain tag values to update where they otherwise wont for some reason (I think it happens when files have a MBID tag). Updating the file mod. date is not enough, so I end up either having to manually remove the item from Emby or will rename the folder lol.

OK let's see if the next build resolves the 220 case. If you have a video file i can test with then that would also be great.

Hi, I've had similar random problems in the past when renaming Artists and/or Albums when I find errors, or just want to change my naming format, for whatever reason. Sometimes, on odd occasions, the changes will not 'take' on any combination of library rescan or refresh metadata for song, album, parent folder, or complete library, that I try. Besides what Luke has suggested, here's some ideas to perhaps try, if you haven't already... Use a tagging program to remove all MusicBrainz IDs from the rogue Song/Album. In Emby, disable MusicBrainz as a fetcher. Change the name of the parent album folder (and/or Artist folder, depending on your structure) - just add 'x' on the end, or anything you want. Then, on a rescan of the next level parent folder, the one above the renamed 'x' folder, Emby should hopefully remove the old rogue Album/Song from its database and add the new one, using only the Artist name to match it to the 'correct' Artist. That's my theory anyway, and has seemed to work for me on quite a few instances, when needed. The 'x' idea was just me being lazy and not wanting to remove folders, rescan, put them back, rescan, etc. - and finding it sometimes didn't work anyway. Good luck with getting it fixed..!

Just stepping in to link this forum post here: As I mentioned in that thread as well, having bought a Snapdragon laptop, I personally don't see myself going back to AMD64 for a laptop in the future. Just as I'm sure I'll stick with AMD64 for my desktops for sheer performance, I'm sure I'll be sticking with ARM64 for my laptops for sheer battery life, especially when things are running native. It really would be great to have a native ARM build of the client for Windows as well. Or should I open a separate feature request for that?

I would try getting the artist completely cleared out of your server database. That means all tracks, albums and music videos. Then run a as normal scan of all libraries after that.

How long does it take until you see visual loading feedback?

Make that 6 of us? Just building a dedicated home theater that will be primarily run with CIH through zooming my projector. Would be great to be able to have a theme that moves UI elements (important ones anyways) within some boundary.

This still happens to me consistently (every time, even?), and only from the Roku app. When I watch a live tv stream, the provider stream stays open even after I exit the stream and stay in the app. The only way to end the stream is to disconnect via my IPTV proxy app (Dispatcharr) or restart the emby server (restarting only the Roku app has no effect). On Windows and iOS, exiting the stream stops the stream from the provider as expected.

On the latest version of the app it DirectPlays, so I guess solved for now.
