So does this mean I need to reinstall? I'm using 4.9.50 and I'm still having issues. I just don't want to reinstall unless it's certainly going to fix it.

When browsing a Movie library and selecting "Folders" from the top tab menu the folder images appear to be missing and is displaying a gray version instead. I tried setting a new image for the folder and did not fix the issue. The folder images work with version 4.9.5.13 but fail on all versions after that (current 4.9.5.24). The functionality still works but the images are just missing. This happens with all libraries. Here is a screenshot.

You have to scroll down and hit the save button at the bottom of that config screen after generating a Trakt code. ^^

Hi there, I can't reproduce on a fresh Debian 13 VM. Are you using systemd to run the service? Do you have LD_LIBRARY_PATH set in /etc/conf.d/emby-server.conf? If so, try removing it, that file should not set LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

What exactly happens when you try? Are you trying to connect to your own Emby Server, or someone else's server?

Hey Luke, thanks for your answer I forgot to mention that I already tried that several times and just to be sure, one last time before posting my message here It says trakt is connected but last successful authorization is not yet recorded and it hasn't changed in days I just finished watching a movie and nothing have been sent to trakt yet

PS: I found the Problem,: My playlists are .m3u8 files located in the same directory as the MP3 files, they were imported when the Emby database was created, but apparently that isn't enough I have to create at least one playlist within Emby itself, which triggers a rescan. From this point on, playlists were also displayed in the Emby home menu. Afterward, I reset the Kodi Emby plugin and set everything up again; "Playlists" then appeared as an option, I selected it, and now all the playlists are there.

I tried it — it does set a Content-Length and drops the chunked encoding, but the value is an estimate: 7,849,714 promised against 3,920,748 actually delivered on a 23-second track, the same figure for FLAC and for WAV, and the connection closes at the real end. For a renderer that needs an accurate length, that fails the same way a missing one does.

I tried, multiple times. Downloading from their repo also doesn't work. I tried installing the app on my another device which runs android 8 and got the same issue.

During setup, I selected "All"; the only options there were All, Movies, Music, and MusicVideos but no Playlists. Now, when I try to add a library, the only choice is "All" but selecting it does nothing, which makes sense since I had already chosen "All" during the initial setup. There was no option to select playlists there either. I also installed all the helper components. I added some pictures to explain what i mean, pic1 shows the Emby Server Playlists, Pic2 showas the overview of the Musi c Library, Pic3 shows the Playlist menu (which is empty) Pi4 and 5 shows the Setup menu of the Emby Add-On.

Files being deleted is the most likely cause. So they could be under /var/packages/EmbyServer/var or in your media folders directly depending on how you have your library options set.

Yes and no, the first time it happened is a probably more then a month ago. But something seams to reset it over and over again. As sad, if I Refresh Metadata it is good for a few hours, before it goes back to half missing. What could case such a behavior? And I double checked, the server just looses pictures, not the other metadata of the movies. Is there a limit on how big the database can get? Ps: after the scan: and by tomorrow it misses half again
