This is actually intentional. Generally the only reason to use Identify is to change the content to something else, therefore, filling in content just means you have to change it or remove it. But more importantly, we used to pre-fill it a long time ago and users would just report that the dialog was returning no results or the wrong results. They did not understand that they needed to correct the values in order to get what they want. So that is the primary reason why it starts blank.

But a play button should not cause a pause, unless it is a play/pause button - there is a distinction. It just depends on what signal it is isending.

Yes, but it is likely configuration of the proxy that is not compatible with the Roku system or the TV. Nothing in the app has changed with regard to requesting images.

Can we see screenshots before and after? My guess is that beforehand they did not have episode numbers.

It was not the firewall, I run a proxy in between. Roku will not work through the proxy, it has to be directly connected to the emvy docker. Every other device runs through the proxy. I still believe there is something going on between Roku and the proxy as the roku never requests images and has issues with playback through the proxy.

Glad you figured it out. Since changing your firewall rules fixed it doesn't it appear obvious it was the firewall that was causing the issue?

I think this is a WebVTT issue but am not certain. The Android app appears to playback a recorded file with these captions properly. It doesn't however display them live. I have an AppleTV with the Emby client and it is displaying them properly on both live and recordings. The AndroidTV app doesn't work for either the live stream or the recording.

Also are you really on firefox 76? for some reason it is sending HEAD requests before every single GET, which is filling up your server log with 404 responses. I've done some brief investigation and it seems it was never normal for firefox to do that, so could be an option set on the browser, or an extension. I don't know if that's contributing to your issue but it's certainly making the logs harder to read.

@Luke, can you help me with this? How do I fix the graphic, ideally by getting it to use the one embedded in the MP3 files? It's still stuck with the wrong image. If this is a cache problem, how do I force it to purge the cache for this album? Thanks!
