Correct, the Home text is brighter but the selection tab is still on the Favorites, and if you hit enter/space it will go to the Favorites screen. I think the normal operation should be if you are on the Home screen than the Home tab is selected and if you are on the Favorites screen than the Favorites tab is selected. Having the Favorites tab selected while on the Home screen seems like it's out of sync. This is an edge case bug and not a big issue. BTW, this bug also occurs with the local server web UI. Server Version: 4.10.1.0

I have come across cases where the server detects what it thinks is media deletion and so it gets removed from the database - it should not happen when a whole drive / top level path is down but if a specific media is no longer present then it would get removed. You mentioned that you saw no media after the launch and maybe for some reason emby server thought the items were deleted - it depends how the remote end responds when emby server tries to access the path - without logs it is not possible to say if this happened. May be there was some nfs issue that led to this. Thanks for the info on how you are using parental controls for music I am aware of an issue with the Albums tab on Music library where the permited albums do not show but thry do show in the other library tabs. This was referred to the development team. I presume this is what you were referring to

I’m currently using two devices: the classic Amazon app and my Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with the public Play Store version. The menu is the first thing that loads, showing the hero banner and media options. I was watching TV using a Firestick with the classic Amazon app, and when I opened the app on my phone to check the server status, the streams on the other TVs froze. My mom was watching something else on another device with the classic app at the same time, and hers froze right then too. Just to clarify, my setup is all hard-wired with Cat 7 cables; only my phone uses Wi-Fi. My Firestick is running the latest beta version of the classic app, my phone has the latest public version, and the server is on the latest beta build from yesterday’s update. Server is running on windows 11 pro, GEEKOM A5 2027 Mini PC,AMD Ryzen 7 7730U,32GB RAM, Rose Gold(32GB+1TB ultra fast solid state HDD internal) + External 2TB Solid State usb3 HDD dedicated for recordings only If you need any other information I will do my best to supply if it helps to fix the freeze.

Essentially the focus is still on Favourites when you hit home on the keyboard because if you press Enter after it will go back to Favourites (since it's the focus) but you can see Home light up a little as it's the active section.

Hi. It isn't full-blown as discussed here. It is still limited. But we are catching up on some backlogged items lately.

Looks like it has to do with the server itself after all. If the freezing starts and I restart the server while the server is restarting the TV app freezes for a quick couple of seconds then starts playing without freezing for several minutes while the server is reloading and for several minutes after the server reloads.

It is very simple to reproduce the issue. If using a mouse: Start from the Home screen. Click on the Favorites tab at the top/middle. The Favorites screen is displayed. Do not click on any movies. Now press the Home key on the keyboard. The Home screen now appears but the Favorites tab is still selected. If using a keyboard: Start from the Home screen. Use the direction arrows and highlight the Favorites tab. The Favorites screen is displayed. Do not use the direction keys while in the Favorites screen. Now press the Home key on the keyboard. The Home screen now appears but the Favorites tab is still selected. This is not a big issue, but just wanted to report it to the dev team. Correction: The Home icon is not present on the Favorites screen so only the keyboard Home key or Remote Home button are used in this case.

I'm not sure what you mean by "removal of the media" as I didn't remove any media. Should I have not restarted the machine after the upgrade and just let it be for a while? I mainly use my Emby server for music with some TV Shows and Movies. I have a user where the maximum allowed parental rating is "TV-Y/APPROVED/G/E/EC/TV-G" and "Block items with no or unrecognized rating information" is enabled in all libraries for that user. This means no music shows up by default because I've never seen any that the rating field is auto populated. To add music, I then go and change the parental rating in the meta data to "APPROVED." I do this for the Artist, Album, or/and Tracks depending on what I want. There is another thread where I reported that under the restricted user the albums are not showing up under the Music section in the UI, to work around this I've been using playlists which isn't ideal. Here is a link to the thread I looked through the logs, seems they're gone. I should have thought to save them on the day I upgraded, I'll try to do so in future. Thanks, HS

I am unable to see movies and tv series on my sky glass login on the fire stick. This seems to have been happening since the stick crashed, and hasn’t recovered. Any idea what the issues is?

I love the interface but the 30 second skip is very unreliable. The first time I skip it works and shows the timeline photo. If I quickly hit it again the photo doesn’t update and it pauses so I have to hit the play button again. Is that normal?

Thanks for quick reply Problem solved. Noticed Permission denied in logs so ran script to give all media files 777 permission and now works. Problem seems to be I somehow lost permissions when coping over files.

What you describe, however, is a delay in delivering the file to the player from the server. The 13% is an arbitrary number Roku seems to pick that basically means it is waiting on the first part of the file. Typically, this is due to either network issues or perhaps a delay in accessing the file - like a drive needs to spin up. I don't see any evidence of a delay in the logs you provided though.

I've never gotten Dolby Vision to work in any great way on my Windows machine with a Nvidia card. I would try Linux but knowing the history Linux has with Nvidia i doubt it will work any better.

Yes, that’s the first thing i checked even tho i have no inotify related errors in the logs. i had that script running on startup for god knows how long, I don’t even remember why i added it but it was already there when i noticed RTM wasn’t working. thanks for your reply.
