I've noticed this recently, where every once in a while it will take longer. Normally it is very quick.

Funny but truth be told for my family I use the old app on firestick without the left menu so they don't phone me asking what's wrong with emby

The tubi one is just ok but to have the trailer play in the top right looks so good after a few seconds it auto plays that would be fire.

So you were able to find our left menu?

No bro we do not, when I go to a movie in emby I can play the trailer works fine so what's so hard about having a trailer play on the home screen while browsing recently added content and have it play in the top right where the picture of the movie is have it after 3 seconds go from the movie backdrop to a trailer playing.

Can you make Emby look like Tubi but without the left side bar unless you press left on remote and have categories listed like drama, comedy, horror etc. Have movie trailers play in background on the home screen? Video.mp4

Cant believe I wasted so much time not using reverse proxy for basically everything . I am doing it all with IIS on Windows 10 and Win-Acme. So easy to have a host and wildcard as 1 combined SSL renewing on its own every 60 days. Its all free. No more paying for SSL. No need to open so many ports for different services just use Sub Domains. If using IIS don't forget to Preserve client IP in the header via the Application Request Routing proxy section so all your services can see the actual remote IP's. For Emby this is good if using user statistics plugins and to make sure Emby knows its a remote connection and applies remote settings and limitations for streaming.

As said though. I always recommend doing manual detection when starting to add credit markers to videos. Once you have completed all videos then using auto detection and/or scheduled task to keep the library up to date. Running scheduled task to fill up the marks as a first run through is not really recommended as you are a bit out the loop as to what is happening.

I have gone through the log, nothing in it stands out as a plugin problem. Tracing the progress i do see a small problem in the plugin it self. When scheduled task is running and auto detecting new files is enabled any new files found while a schedule task is running might actually reset the queue. I will fix that bug. What i did see in the log. A lot of files were skipped because they either already had end credit markers, had previously failed or time stamps were downloaded from TheIntroDB. If you have set the manual detection run to ignore those things it will take a much longer time than the schedule task.

Has anyone else seen this happen? One day you have a collection the you made have most of the movies removed or deleted?

@vdatanetI just confirmed that Emby's built in button does not pop up at the end of the episode. All that occurs is the button that does pop up lasts about 3 seconds then disappears. On another note, it looks like the skip intro button is working as normal.

I saw the app icon in your video but when I saw the top bar with Home, Shop, etc isn't that the stock launcher?

Good catch, and the cause turned out to be a small embarrassment. Those section titles don't come from the app: the top row is a separate little extension with its own bundle, and I build its text from the same kind of string file. That file had the Catalan and the Spanish in it — and not the English, because the English is the key I type in the code and it never occurred to me that it also had to be written down as a translation of itself. So the extension shipped with two languages inside and no English at all. With no match for your system language and no English to fall back to, tvOS picks the first one it finds in there. That's Catalan. The app itself does carry the English, which is exactly why only the top row was wrong and everything else looked fine. Fixed for the next build: the English is written out in the extension too, and the extension now declares its development language the way the app already did. One honest caveat while I'm here. The app speaks English, Catalan and Spanish and nothing else yet, so if your setup is in some other language, the top row will now say English rather than something random — correct, but still not your language. If there's a language you'd want it in, say so in this thread. I'd rather translate the ones people actually use than guess.
