Just tried this, seems to be working OK. Even the initial task run didn't take too long, 1hr15mins for 100,000+ items library. Subsequent task runs are quite fast, ~3-4mins pre-draw. Some settings I'm unsure of, would appreciate if you could throw some light on what those actually do (does it rebuild all episode images? what is that "aggregation"?...) for setting them accordingly. I don't know, I paid for 1 month premiere 50 connect extended, 12 hours later it says it wants to charge again.. just sent email to support. This issue was brought up almost a year ago. Still hasn't been fixed. If I'm 2 weeks in on a month and decide I need it it's still full price for 2 weeks even though I didn't get the service for two other weeks.. if I decide I need it 29 days and 12 hours later, it still charged me for a whole month.. so I paid for a whole month for 12 hours that ain't right.. the premier spot in the forms don't have any spot to post anything, just gives me an email.. So where do people post about premier problems if the premiere doesn't have any spot to put it?

I always crop my videos to remove the "black bars" (wasted space). all videos are preprocessed with FileFlows to remove this from the videos themselves, so i can adjust hte zoom setting to crop and it works 100% of the time. The problem is, I have to do this on every single video. It would be great if a profile could have a default zoom setting that just automatically picked what you wanted every time you started a video.

What is a complex example of this on tmdb?

Hi Luke, thanks for reaching out. I am only trying through the app, it's worked fine for years. Post the ISP change, the error is the standard "Unable to Reach synology - We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again". The server is running.

About 3 months ago I transitioned from a fibre to the node to direct fibre nbn connection; Superloop is my ISP (Australia). DS Video continued working as normal, however I am still having trouble connecting remotely to emby. I have worked through the trouble shooting page for several weeks, ensuring that my local access is fine (which it is), and my ISP recently changed cgNAT so that I am now using a static IP (we also ensured there was no ISP blocking of emby). I have also ensured port forwarding is sorted on my router, and windows firewall settings are to the required emby settings. In the end I thought emby connect might assist but am still unable to listen to my music when away from my home Wi-Fi. Is there any other quirks I need to address, or is there something further I need to work through with my ISP?

I’ve been an Emby Premiere user, and honestly, what are even the actual benefits of paying for it? I posted about an issue, got zero responses from the support team, and was given no explanation at all about what went wrong. Was your origin server down or something? Sure, it's working fine now, but that doesn't change how useless Emby Premiere feels when paying customers get completely ignored like this. @Luke

Thanks. I’ve attached the Emby server log from the failed download. The log shows repeated 404 errors for /emby/Sync/JobItems/277/File because the temporary file under /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/sync/91/277/ is missing. Please let me know if you need any other logs or details. embyserver (1).txt

Then it might just be an issue when I add people manually via the web ui, such as composers or producers. I find myself having to manually suffix markers to peoples names to make them group just right. And then, when all the groupings are correct, rename them again to remove those markers.

I was never able to get the built in provider functionality. I have my own tmdb api key, and was able to get it working with the emby IHTTPClient. Do you @Lukehave an example somewhere on using the provider system to send a search request to tmdb? Im essentially sending https://api.themoviedb.org/3/collection/<collectionTmdbId>?language=en-us&api_key=<KEY> TIA

I am getting this playback error after clicking on the trailer button. in the second image you can see I've renamed the trailer to get rid of weird characters but when you look at the log file, as you can see behind the screen, it's still trying to play the old trailer name, I have tried refreshing metadata and it doesn't seem to fix it what refresh do I need to do as I cannot seem to correct it even if I go into editing the metadata. I'm not sure how to get rid of this ghosted wrongly named, trailer

Hi, have you read the Emby Music Naming guide? This gives some info about file types that may be useful, if you haven't seen it already? https://emby.media/support/articles/Music-Naming.html There may be other useful tips in this documentation that may help with some of your other questions? In Folder view, there's Sort By options for File Name, Number, Title: Depending upon how your files are named, perhaps one of these will work for the order you want? Which tagging program do you use? In Mp3tag there's many options to redo filenames from tags and vice versa: I also noticed in your pics, there is "3 Doors Down" and "3 Doors" Artists shown. This looks like you may have inconsistent tagging with Album Artist and/or Artist??? Perhaps the above info will assist with answering some of your questions? Cheers!
