For the benefit of others who don't know how to move the window using the Move command, there are two very small regions in the Caption Controls region (Close, Minimise, Maximise/Restore buttons) which represent the system title bar for the window, unencumbered by buttons. These two regions, coloured in red in the image below, can be used to move the window. Essentially, hover either side of the ellipses button. If the ellipses button is highlighted then you aren't in the sweet spot. Once you are, you can move the window as required. This is easier using the region to the right of the ellipses button as you can use the hover colouring of the Minimise button to tell you when you've gone too far to the right.

Hi all I was wondering whether there is way to customize the CSS to have a larger logo. I have my own custom logo that I put as logowhite.png and logodark.png in the theme folder, however it is appearing quite small on the page now as you can see on this screenshot: If there are options to change how large the splash.png image is loaded that would be nice. Is talks with emby vist restfull api, also talks with ombi restull api for the request feature. Users can login with their emby credentials and write reviews and do star ratings and post top10 movies favorites etc. In runs in a single container and use cloudflare tunneling for internet proxy. Users can add other emby users as friends and then related users can se what the other users watch, to get inspired for wathing new content.

You're right, I should have said of the files I use. It could use a refresh for sure but until I upgrade my old LG C7 it manages most stuff my tv supports, the only one of these I would use immediately would be DV profile 7 FEL using both layers. I hope my Shield keeps working because I wouldn't know what to replace it with.

I looked again. They are there and work but they are with ALOT of Music playlists as well. Music playlist are just listed but empty when you select them.

Hello, I have a scenario where one of my libraries sits on the external HDD enclosure. I want to have for it Real Time Monitoring enabled but there is a catch.. sometimes happens this external HDD enclosure has connectivity issues or after reboot it did not get properly mounted to the Linux file system and Emby starts purging everything related to it. This is huge pain in case such library is 50k home video files - everything needs to be rebuild from scratch, which can take weeks! I know it kind of makes sense of Real Time Monitoring feature but I would propose to implement a safety check that the library is actually present on the file system. I know this is difficult to detect properly when Emby server is inside docker, but something simple like: If any specified folder is entirely empty, skip the synchronization for it. So before triggering the real time sync perform for both of this folders this empty folder check: IF contains SOMETHING -> sync IF contains NOTHING -> skip I would do this safety check also when triggered manually, because many times user don't even notice the external HDD enclosure is not mounted.. 99% of cases user finds out when his media are missing in the Emby library.. In order to sync on these empty libraries user would need to disable safety check. Solution:

I used to have a 418play. It was okay for running Emby server if you didn't transcode big 4K files. I don't transcode though so really all it did for me was pass media which it did fine with. My issue was with space. The 4 bays (3 with 1 raid drive) quickly filled up once I started replacing media with 4K versions and the 418play doesn't support an expansion cabinet. Why a 418play? That is getting old and there are newer, better boxes out now.

HLG, HDR10+, advanced HDR10+, DV IQ, DV2, DV profile 7 FEL using both layers, AV1, VP9 and some other newer codecs are not supported. The Shield is getting old and could use a refresh.

Not sure why it really matters if it was developed using AI, or not. I see nowhere that it says they hand jammed all the code themselves. No matter how it was developed they did the work putting together for people to decide if they want to use it. I used to develop stuff myself using COBOL on a mainframe and I could complain how the developers now have all the GUI tools making their jobs much easier and how they aren't real developers either. Everything is going AI nowadays and making apps is no different. If anything, they could give credit to Emby for making and releasing the APIs which made it possible for them to make this app.

Wow I didn't know that, apart from files with HLG HDR this must be one of the few exceptions the Shield doesn't support. I enabled transcoding on the server and tested multiple episodes. They all play now, but fastforwarding to skip intro's sometimes results in the episode freezing or the subtitles not running in sync anymore. I'm afraid my Synology DS916+ might not be a bit slow for transcoding so I'll have to live with that. If the decoding could be done in app like for the other application that would be great. The only issue that remains is that when the app automatically starts playing the next episode the default subtitles are no longer selected. Sometimes it works to select them while the episode is playing, but most of the time that doesn't work so I have to stop the playback and manually start the episode again with the subtitles selected. When manually starting an unplayed episode the default subtitles are always selected and play without issues.

I recommend keeping at least "skip videos with existing markers" on as other wise it will run detection on everything, even files that has already been processed. Going to check later today if I forgot to add those settings to the data manager or else they get ignored and reset when changed.

Only for people with slow, or bad connections. Those of us with faster connections find it an annoyance that could be solved by only showing it for those having connection issues.

Can I just say, f. auto correction on mobile phones. That previous post is almost unreadable.
