This is why I asked the plugin dev why they didn't get this information from the metadata providers instead. Integrating directly with the 'arrs will keep this out of our catalog. I did not know that and, yes, this does violate not only our development policy, it violates YouTube's ToS.

Is it recent? If within the last few years, burn in should not be of any concern.

I seem to have managed to get it working. For some reason Internet access control planning was turned off in my router on all devices. I have turned them all on and it is now working. Thank you for your help

Hello, ich recently switched from AppleTV to AndroidTV. Specifically Google Streamer 4K. ich tested both the deprecated Tv app and the universal app. I stuck with the universal since the forums state this is the future. I am pretty happy with the app and all works. Except for updates of the Home Screen. When I turn the tv off and add a new episode or watch an episode on another device and then come back to the tv, the home screens „continue warching“ is still as if I turned it off. Going to the android Home Screen and reopen the app nothing updates. I need to force close the app and restart or watch another episode and return to the Home Screen to have it update. currently I solve this by navigating to the show in my favorites, enter the season and play the new episode. I with it would update when the app is back in foreground. is there a setting or anyone else having this problem? It worked perfectly on my appletv and iOS devices. thanks and I hope I described my „problem“ understandably

I was realizing today when going through my "Continue Watching" history that there's stuff there which my user account literally hasn't touched in 3+ years. At this point there's probably close to 5 dozen entries in it. From what I can see, there isn't a way to purge it so that you get a fresh continue watching queue. Not a big deal, but if I could do this, now that I've become more familiar with the platform, I'd like to keep only things I'm actively watching there. Is there a command I can enter into the terminal under the Manage Emby server section to do this?

Something strange is really happening because I'm not use to seeing actual filenames. I am running a manual rescan on GOT to see if it changes. Ok, after manual, Season 1 changed to Winter is coming and the filenames have been replaced with cleaner names. Still no season detail though.

For grins... I had this issue once but it did go away... Go to your server settings -> Network, and enter your server's IP address in the "Local IP address" box.

Yes, they are and have been all connected to the same network. As I said I did change the router last week and everything was working fine, managed to watch films on all the other tv's and tablets. I t was only on Sunday afternoon that it stopped working.

Season info is generally quite rare, actually, way more often than not you won't find any, except for some popular shows or some enthusiasts filling it for the shows they have particular knack for. Life Below Zero Season 23 has no season overview, you can easily check it by yourself. Look at some popular shows in your library, like GoT, they should be there, in particular since you refreshed metadata.

I am assuming that you have a basic network configured within the house. Your emby system and TV's are on the same subnet? You don't have your TV's/phones on some guest network?
