Hey Luke, upgraded the app and have had minimal issues. Main issue is when the server can't decide if I am connecting over wifi or over 5g service. That is an issue for another thread. I will not piggy back on that here. Thank you!

What version number of the app? Ensure your server is showing the proper address on its dashboard.

What device are you using? I would also recommend clearing the cache for the channel and refreshing your guide to see if that fixes the issue.Your playback method set to Playlist(Live) is typically what you would want to stick with also.

Do you have caching of program data enabled? When your guide refreshes and caching is not enabled the program data gets reset and will start your shows back at the beginning. I recommend keeping "Random Series, Ordered Episodes" and enabling caching of program data. I believe this will fix the issue you are explaining

I have no option to edit the last command so I will add here that... All I mentioned above is when Transcoding on Mobile data and "Disable HLS Subtitles" disable... But when Transcoding + "Disable HLS Subtitles" enable the issue is the same, No video and audio only subs. and as a remainder I'm using the "Disable HLS Subtitles" because it fixed the out of sync when you skip forwards.. yes，the issue occurs with the test sample. There are the IINA shotcut and the emby server shotcut.

I sign into emby and get PIN it works but when I go to tv and hit next nothing happens

I can confirm that I have the same problem. Running server 4.9.5.0 in an Unraidsystem (Linux). It is impossible to get a new "pin" and it is an "oath" problem. Hopefully our clever developers can find out of it.

Ive been using The IntroDB plugin which is capable of marking Credits for Movies and Recaps for shows, the issue with this is that Emby doesn't have prompts for skipping the credits of a movie or recap of a show currently. If they implemented markers for recaps and prompts to skip over these sections, it would benefit your plugin and The IntroDBs plugin.

Thanks @ebr It was set to "remember last user" (the default, I guess). That didn't work anymore. Then I had set it to specifically sign in as "that user", but that also didn't have any effect. It is always showing that server selection screen. It worked before. This just changed with the last update.

So sorry for the delay! The new version is a total rewrite with a completely different approach—I genuinely thought it would take weeks. Somehow I've made amazing progress and am just fixing a few minor bugs now. Fingers crossed! If all goes well, V2 will be up in a few hours. I can see why the other developer abandoned his project. This project is very complicated but I'm not going to give up.

I would like to review this again. So, why is it not possible to direct link to media? From the plug-in 'Playback Reporting' The tool tip even states it, it works. I click on the link and the an overview regarding the movie - in this case - opens up! Why did we leave this design? I just love opening 10 movies in different windows and take it in, all at the same time. Do note my 6 screen setup but that is mostly because I'm to cheap skate for 4K displays. Back in the day, this is how I spent most of my 'Emby time'. To get anywhere near to the same functionality I would duplicate the overview [tab] (as in 'duplicate' or 'clone' 'this/that tab', browser functionality) and I click on the media that I want to temporarly view (more than an hour), go back to the previous tab, continue looking around untill I see something that sparks my interest and then, repeat! Duplicate the tab, click on what ever, go back to the first tab. Thank you

It's sad because the week before this started, my Trakt plugin updated 3 times (3.8.5, 3.8.6, then 3.8.8). Now suddenly, it stops working completely, and we hear nothing about it being worked on...

Searches on my Emby are also very, very slow for multi-word searches but very quick for single words. It doesn't make a difference whether the search is in a browser or the app though.

Dear Emby user, contributars and devs, I do not know for sure what to do with the following, I hope I'm missing an option or for any other kind of mistake on my side. Feedback and suggestions are welcome. 1. Search ..seems to be an ad page now. What happend? I search for 'pola' and nothing usefull comes up and worse, I need to scroll through unrelated suggestions of my own media... 2. Season view What happend here? Do people not do 'seasons' anymore? I love(d) the season overview, at minimal it gave me a nice overview of what ever is in that season at best it gave an introduction of what I can expect of that season. This functionality is gone now. Yes, somewhere there is an option to see a few lines of text in a popup (guys, a popup?!) but that can easily be half of everything, then just let us remove it completely in stead of being tickled by.. ow never mind it stops mid sentence.. I do not understand the design philosophy here. I hope it is my Emby server somehow, but I fear that it is becoming increasingly about 'looking nice' instead focussing on the goal of what was once 'Media browser'. Kind regards, Naxs PS.
