Thank you for the reply. The dates showing are ones I typed as part of the title. I will use that method for now. And yes, they are home movies.

Hi. This is the issue. It still needs to be addressed but, since these appear to be home videos, you could update the release date instead.
-
Yeah, but it is all really the same issue...
-
Okay, that is the standard app. Just as a test, can you try "Emby for Android TV" just to see if it looks any different? That may give us some clues. Thanks.

Hi, there's already an open request for this or something functionally equivalent. Please join in and contribute to the existing discussion at: -
Hi, collections are kind of a special folder. There could be an issue with that filter. In any case, this has been revamped in the upcoming 4.10 release and will work. Thanks.

GokuTradeDevil posted a topic in Spanish
¡Gracias! -
@Lukeplease tell me this is close to being fixed for testing

Native hardware transcoding support (RKMPP) for Rockchip RK3588 / ARM64
niksol posted a topic in Feature Requests
Hello Emby Team, I am an Emby Premiere subscriber. I am writing to formally request native hardware acceleration/transcoding support for Rockchip processors, specifically the RK3588 / RK3588S SoC, which is becoming extremely popular in the single-board computer (SBC) community (powering devices like the Orange Pi 5 Plus, Rock 5B, Radxa, etc.). Currently, the RK3588 is an absolute beast for home servers due to its low power consumption and a powerful VPU capable of handling multiple 4K HEVC 10-bit streams simultaneously. However, because official Emby Server docker images rely on a custom built FFmpeg that doesn't recognize Rockchip's RKMPP (Rockchip Media Process Platform) or rkmpp codecs, we are forced to use software transcoding, which pegs the CPU at 100%. Since competing open-source media servers like Jellyfin have already implemented native Rockchip MPP support directly into their FFmpeg upstream and web UI, it would be amazing to see official, out-of-the-box RKMPP support in Emby for ARM64 Linux/Docker. Thank you for your hard work and constant improvements to the platform! -
Does Emby support HW transcoding on the Rockchip RK3588S?

Energon_Universe started following Collection Hide

Hello, Even though I've hidden the collection, I can only see one of them in the server profile. However, in another profile, both of them are displayed normally. Am I doing something wrong in the settings? 2.png is from server profile 3.png is from one of users

Great job with the plugin-in! One feature I would request is being able to add tags to the m3u link so that all the channels in the m3u file have the designated tags.

<shrug> I have two subdomains pointing to the same server, but the server knows only one of them. The reason is historical, but there's no reason to change the current setup. Paul -

Does Emby support HW transcoding on the Rockchip RK3588S?
niksol replied to parmi93's topic in General/Windows
Hello, +1 Need so much hardware transcoding on my rockchip rk3588... Jellyfin supports it, but it has problems with multi-platform support. I need hwa so much in emby! -
Release Note V 1.1.0.0 Added deletion notifications: Broadcasts an on-screen message to every connected Emby app (web, mobile, TV, etc.) the moment the scheduler deletes an item. Added disk space summary: The Delete Queue tab now shows a live summary banner above the queue table: Total in Queue — combined size of everything currently queued. Space to be Freed — size of only the items marked "delete files," since library-only removals stay on disk. EmbyExpiry.dll

I have added the year on the metadata screen, and it shows up on my server app. However, the year does not show up on the Roku screen. I have typed in the year in parentheses as a workaround. But I would like the tag to work. Other tags do show up.

Have you configured the server to require https?

Movies "Split Versions" Option no longer available
Painkiller88 replied to Painkiller88's topic in General/Windows
Great, thanks yes this is what i was looking for, i know it was in the menu so this has been changed a while ago. Thanks a lot. -
If not a reverse proxy then I'll be more generalized: Something in between the client device and your emby server is changing the request from a POST to a GET. It's usually a reverse proxy, but could also be an http to https redirect, or anything that might be redirecting.

@HVACPRO can you confirm your m3u channels all are having a tvg-chno? Atm the logic is as following 1 M3U has tvg-chno attribute = value is used as channelnumber ( leading ) 2 tvg-chno is missing or no number = auto-increment fallback (1,2,4 default order of m3u file ) My advice us a m3u editor to make you list nice then import it in emby then you dont have to rely on channels being in weird places or manualy change it in emby dashboard ( https://m3u4u.com/ )
