Is it just me or was last nights Smackdown shorter is shrinkflation hitting out tv shows now

I'm running Synology DSM 7.4.1-90080. I don't have any security software installed, and I even disabled the firewall. I've tried connecting both locally through the IP address and through DDNS, but the result is the same. I don't know where the problem is. The ISP isn't blocking anything. If the issue is with my Synology system, where should I look?

The dev team could handle this better within Emby but if and until that ever happens your best bet is to make sure your storage is reliable and systems are properly configured to function as servers. It's more than a startup problem. Many have reported libraries disappearing at any time and the workarounds within Emby are limited to disabling RTM and the scheduled scans. The devs implemented a weak band-aid using path naming and mount point depth but as far as I know that's a Linux/UNIX only solution. Keep trying though. Maybe the devs will come around and pay more attention to this problem.

My homelab is running on the same network as the Shield . Emby runs in docker, but I connect to the local IP. Never had this issue with the Xiaomi device, my phone or my tablet. Only on the Shield.

So here I lost whole library again - about 60k files with metadata and thumbnails.. why? because suddenly, while emby was running, my raid array got unmounted for insufficient watchers.. this resulted in empty folder within emby and emby purged everything straight away.. had no time to even realize that.. I still strongly thing emby should prevent such a intrusive purge..

Hey, I have a problem with the newest Version of Emby. It broke my Multi-Version Naming Convention. It will show the full movie name instead of the version of this movie. For example lets take Tenet. My folder structure is as follows: W:\Movies\Tenet\Tenet (2020)\Tenet (2020) - 4K Remux.mkv W:\Movies\Tenet\Tenet (2020)\Tenet (2020) - 4K.mkv now it should only show 4K Remux and 4K as versions but it shows the whole movie name and the version. like Tenet (2020) - 4K Remux and Tenet (2020) - 4K instead of 4K Remux and 4K it never did that before this exact update. Can anyone help?

I want it to merge all versions across my different folders, these are the settings It said it had merged all items, but for some reason it has not merged but un-merged all my media? example tv shows

Why is this in Linux instead of Synology? (just curious)

More informations : Films with an Auto Direct Play works normally When playing other films with trasncoding stops few seconds later ... How can i fix Direct Play method ? Thank u for your help

As recently stated by me I don't think I see the phone UI on my TV, what I see on the phone, TV, and PC are the exact same layout for all three devices. The only difference is the sice of the elements depending on the screen, but still exact same design.

Creating this as a perhaps perpetual recommendation list for new features. Starting things off, my top request is to bring this to the apps; web only is disappointing. At first I thought this was due to the legacy TV app but it's also on the modern app as well. When this is supported it should match your main account so you don't need to set it per app. Second really nice to have is stackable options. Example, 'sort by', so you could have critic and community ratings in a single section etc. This might be too difficult, but an algorithm based suggestion list. This could be a simple as movie which has been watched by x percentage of the users on the server, not to be confused with most plays. So a movies or TV show that has been completely watched by a set amount, say 70% of users, will show as a suggested to users who have not seen it.

I did a fresh library scan using Emby 4.11 beta and thought I'd post where things currently stand: What shows on the web client: DV Profiles 5, 7.6, 8.1, 8.4, 10.0, 10.1, 10.4 (basically all DV profiles are correctly identified) HLG HDR10 DTS-HD, TrueHD, DD/DD+ What doesn't show: HDR10+ Atmos & DTS:X (both show base layers EAC3 & DTS-HD) Those results are much better than my previous test, not sure if it's the fresh library scan refreshing the metadata or if Emby actually added more profiles recently. Looking forward to the last bits, especially HDR10+ and Atmos. I know the team is aware and working on it. Just leaving this here as update for anyone curious.

Unfortunately still some issues. The guide isn't downloading some channels. Where does WMC get its data as its all correct? Is it OTA? If so why is the OTA not decoding properly for one program and not the other? Is the emby listings option gracenote? or an OTA provider?

Hello, j'ai suivi vos conseils et la situation était similaire. En fait, j'ai compris ce qui se passe (il m'a fallu du temps ) j'ai toujours arrêté EMBY via son tableau de bord, mais sur le bureau QNAP, la fonction "démarrer" n’ apparaissait pas ! pour cause, il faut arrêter EMBY via QNAP pour le voir apparaître Merci encore pour votre aide
