Most of my testing was done in the browser web ui. I always make sure to type fast enough to not trigger multiple searches, and will make sure my previous search is completed before doing another. I personally have not seen a difference between the web and dedicated Emby app.

Hi there, what happens when you try to import it?
-
HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
-
Because the imported list is part of the library, not associated to the user, so it gets hidden or shown in the same manner as the media files.

@yockerI just wanted to say that I stumbled across this plugin yesterday and it is awesome. I had a quick question if I may. I use all my own templated movie posters and due to the location of some of the content, using the black bar at the top or bottom wont work for me. I know you can do it so it doesn't overlay but it gets a bit squashed up. I found that adding the icons over the poster itself sometimes made it hard to read so I wanted to add a black border around the edges of them all so they would stand out. I couldn't seem to do this via the UI soI added the border to my source images themselves. It seems to have the desired effect but I was wondering if there was a way possibly to this via the UI that I missed? I thought maybe it would be good to have an option to add a coloured box to the overlay so you could move it to under where your icons will be. A bit similar to that drag and drop box I found with highlights areas where icons can go? i have attached a poster to show you what I mean about the black bar not being suitable at top and bottom. Once again seriously this plugin is great .

The browser also has added cancellation of the previous search when you add another letter, and now this cancellation makes it all the way up to the database query. This helps a lot. But not all apps can do that and some of the ones that can haven’t gotten a store update with it yet:

Spyderturbo007 started following Refresh Metadata Question

I'm running Emby Server as a docker container on my unRAID server and am having some issues. A lot of my movies don't pull any images or NFO data. I can do it manually, but it's not automatic when I add a file. I have to browse to the movie and then do the Refresh Metadata -> Replace Images and then it comes right up. Is there a button or setting I'm missing to do that automatically when a file is added to the library? Also, if I try and back fill the images by refreshing the metadata on the library and choose "Search for missing metadata" and toggle on "Replace Existing Images", will that leave alone everything that has metadata and images? I've had to do some manually because they were obscure and I don't want to lose what I've done manually.

It might be trying to display it as a backdrop rather than an image. Backdrops depending on the resolution and aspect-ratio might get the scale to zoom treatment. Which would cut off some of the top/bottom if the image was narrow enough which this appears to be. When for photos it should always use scale to fit. That might be all this is.

Check, Aha, the signature cut off. Does the TV cut off any other program? Look at news shows with the bottom text scroll info. TV's can have slight adjustments as well that can cut off the bottom and these might also vary depending on what video input, cable vs. Ethernet. Sure it could be an Emby code issue. Check to see if you can duplicate it with other shows and inputs or if the bottom of the image shows up on a different monitor. I will try to read the first info better. Yours was a little but complicated.

Ignore m3u and add dropdown for playlists
StuBailey replied to dannymichel's topic in Feature Requests
Lots of threads similar on m3u and playlist wasn't sure where to post this so............. this thread is old so today emby has it so in the music library you can turn off importing all the m3u's, and you can set a playlist collaboration to non private.... ok, now when I turn off the music library importing, it works great to only show the playlist I made - except for any music playlist I make. That same playlist only shows if I turn the library import back on. An imported list offer no collaboration choice but a playlist made by adding one song at a time to a made playlist does show the menu option for collaboration choice so I can tell the difference from an imported one and a made one. Not sure if this is an over site or it just can't be done with music playlist. -
It's all within Emby.
-
Okay, none of this is within Emby, correct?

Just swept a speaker. Got a black screen after it finished. I set up the calibration software ready for the next measurement, waited around for 30 seconds or so, got up, went to the other room to grab my phone, pulled up the stopwatch app, and started timing. The screen came back on one minute and 37 one hundredths of a second later . The next one was too quick for me to time . The one after that was 1:32.15.

Hi, as soon as we think it’s ready for release.
-
Hi, one thing you could do is disable the automatic grouping options on the library. That should make things equivalent to how they were before for you.
-
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
-
Nothing has changed. I'm calibrating my audio system at the moment, so I'm playing the audio sweeps from the Spatial Audio Calibration Toolkit. It's taking me longer to sweep two speakers tonight than it took me to sweep all nine last night. Even coming out of HDR, it's usually a couple of seconds at most. It shouldn't be taking over a minute.

AndroidTv update now black screen with av1/opus videos
ebr replied to esaym153's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
Okay, the issue is that, while your TV supports AV1 it does not support it inside a TS container which is what is happening now so that we can convert the audio. The next app update should correct this but you may be better off using the standard app if you have a lot of AV1/Opus. Thanks. -
My guess is that the display mode is changing back. Have you started watching more DV or HDR stuff? Do you have match framerate/resolution selected?
