What part of this name is causing it to be identified as part of "Season 29"?

Hmm, I tried changing [29X0Xxae2eo] to (29X0Xxae2eo) but it still seems to identify as Season 20. Would these be the type of parenthesis that you'd expect it would ignore the season naming for? -

Yes, by making the change in the web interface, it fixed it in the Apple TV interface. Honestly, I think that's pretty cool. You can set it one place and it follows. I kind of like that. Might just need documentation. -
One has only EmbyIcons installed so it is of cause a possibility. In my own tests i can't replicate the problem at all, even with more plugins drawing on the posters. Even copied over 1TB of small videos to do a fresh scan to sort of overwhelm it to have it cause the problem. Anyway, i will look at it again when they are back and active on the forum.

@LukeI think this was already resolved by ATranchina removing the Live TV option from the Home section via the web app https://emby.media/community/topic/148926-please-allow-us-to-remove-live-tv-functions-from-apple-tv-app/#findComment-1532455 We don't have an editor for the Home sections in the ATV app. While we could add it, I don't think it world be a trivial exercise, however the current ATV app does honour the sections defined in the web app - they work as expected as far as I'm aware. -

Its possible the display is incorrect. Did you confirm no ffmpeg log is created? The Shield doesn't have an AV1 decoder and that version of the TV app cannot do it in software either. -
Right but the way all the image caching works, effects could hang around for a while. It could be different image processors fighting each other somehow too. Do the folks with this issue also have CA or any other image processor plugin?

Correct, they do say that it happens even with it uninstalled. The users seems gone for tonight but i have one thing i can test.

So does this mean I need to reinstall? I'm using 4.9.50 and I'm still having issues. I just don't want to reinstall unless it's certainly going to fix it.

When browsing a Movie library and selecting "Folders" from the top tab menu the folder images appear to be missing and is displaying a gray version instead. I tried setting a new image for the folder and did not fix the issue. The folder images work with version 4.9.5.13 but fail on all versions after that (current 4.9.5.24). The functionality still works but the images are just missing. This happens with all libraries. Here is a screenshot.

You have to scroll down and hit the save button at the bottom of that config screen after generating a Trakt code. ^^

Hi there, I can't reproduce on a fresh Debian 13 VM. Are you using systemd to run the service? Do you have LD_LIBRARY_PATH set in /etc/conf.d/emby-server.conf? If so, try removing it, that file should not set LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

What exactly happens when you try? Are you trying to connect to your own Emby Server, or someone else's server?

What do you mean by "downloading from their repo doesn't work" ? I was just able to download it without any problems.

Hey Luke, thanks for your answer I forgot to mention that I already tried that several times and just to be sure, one last time before posting my message here It says trakt is connected but last successful authorization is not yet recorded and it hasn't changed in days I just finished watching a movie and nothing have been sent to trakt yet

PS: I found the Problem,: My playlists are .m3u8 files located in the same directory as the MP3 files, they were imported when the Emby database was created, but apparently that isn't enough I have to create at least one playlist within Emby itself, which triggers a rescan. From this point on, playlists were also displayed in the Emby home menu. Afterward, I reset the Kodi Emby plugin and set everything up again; "Playlists" then appeared as an option, I selected it, and now all the playlists are there. -
I tried it — it does set a Content-Length and drops the chunked encoding, but the value is an estimate: 7,849,714 promised against 3,920,748 actually delivered on a 23-second track, the same figure for FLAC and for WAV, and the connection closes at the real end. For a renderer that needs an accurate length, that fails the same way a missing one does.

Emby Server not installing on Android 7

I tried, multiple times. Downloading from their repo also doesn't work. I tried installing the app on my another device which runs android 8 and got the same issue.
