In Folder view, there's Sort By options for Filename, Number, Title: Depending upon how your files are named, perhaps one of these will work for the order you want? Which tagging program do you use? In Mp3tag there's many options to redo filenames from tags and vice versa: I also noticed in your pics, there is "3 Doors Down" and "3 Doors" Artists shown. This looks like you may have inconsistent tagging with Album Artist??? Perhaps the above info will assist with answering some of your questions? Cheers!

I’m also having this problem while using Tailscale, but it’s not strictly limited to music. Some video files will play, and some won’t. However, using Safari instead of the app everything works flawlessly, so I’ve been using that as a workaround.

The EPG/program window is correct, but during an active recording Emby can map the available recording/buffer to the wrong position within that timeline. The underlying growing TS is directly seekable, and once the recording completes, the same file immediately behaves correctly. I sent a detailed repro privately with diagnostics to @Luke. If the Emby team wants additional testing or a specific build tested, I’m happy to help.

Its happened again. The TOS 7.0.1278 update has screwed up my Emby library again. The HDD names have been changed so for example Externaldrive_sbd1 is now Externaldrive_sbd2, so nothing will play. The error message is No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. Emby version is 4.10.0.40

We already do this. For both tmdb and tvdb we get unique identifiers.

The server doesn't track any kind of offline state, so the result should be the same regardless.

12 years later is this still true? It seems like people have been reporting duplicate actors, so I guess it is now possible to have multiple same-named actors in Emby now. And looking at the API documentation (at least for TMDB), it looks like the meta-data providers have also improved on their end. Would it be possible for Emby to use this information to ensure that when meta-data for a movie is refreshed, the actors/crew aren't merged solely based on their names?

@Luke@softworkz Based on the docs, I expect ILibraryManager.GetCollectionFolders(...) to always turn an array of Folder, empty or otherwise. It looks like there's at least one scenario where it will return null. In the case described above, a library is periodically unavailable while the Emby server is running. Out of town with only my phone (give me a break, I'm old). The good about what i did was only added the tag to the collection. All the movies in that collection then appear under. So 10 collections each has 50 movies.... 10 tags and all 500 are in 1 place.

If you have enabled saving images next to media files, in library options, all covers will be copied to your nas, if you move everything and not just the *.mkv files. If you don‘t have that enabled, all posters will be lost, as Emby maps the images to a unique id in its assets, the unique id will be newly generated, if you remap the libraries to the new path on your nas. Collection Images will be lost anyways, as those arent saved in the same way.

If this works HDhomerun will hate me

The HDhomerun app does anyone have it running on an emulated source? Not talking about flashed HDhomrun boxes with the Record exploit but an actual emulator, anyone have success ? I have an idea not sure it will work but I will find out in an hour or so after installing Arch Linux I was told works with HDhomerun app on firestick and android tv reads it just as an actual HDhomerun device. If it works I will post it maybe even make a video on how to block updates that will patch it to not work blocking the HDhomerun completely from ever updating. back in an hour after I test this

True. But most users don't do the same. So reactions are only ever awarded to the posts that are active enough to remain on the front page of feature requests. At least in my experience.

As far as I know, TerraMaster has not published 4.10.0.40 in their App Centre. Do you mean you downloaded it from the Emby site? I too would like to know the answer as to whether there are any further compatibility (or permissions) problems between Emby and TOS7. Both TerraMaster and Emby proclaim compatibility with the other in their respective marketing, but the reality is somewhat different. My question on the TerraMaster forum thread has received the response that they will only publish after the latest stable release has been tested internally. 4.10x has been out for a while. They must still be testing? Are there further issues? Who knows.

Kodi is fun to test with but I never run it more than 30 minutes before deleting same as VLC I use it to test iptv but never use it as an always some people might but not for me it's just buggy I rather go to https://www.team-mediaportal.com/ that's just my opinion

This appears to have been (mostly) fixed now. Thank you for that. But, it now looks like that the right scroll button doesn't disappear when navigated to the end. And clicking it results in nothing, except resetting the timer for the auto navigation. Using the arrow key on the keyboard makes the images "wrap around". Was that the intention for the button too?

I had everything set to transcode it never worked now today it's working and I live on a ranch our houses are far apart did something update that I missed
