Stumped trying to get an API key to work with Powershell for Movies reporting
FatherSaint posted a topic in General/Windows
I am having issues with the Reports plugin as I try to find my old movies that are 720p or even worse to upgrade. It has often wrongly identified the resolutions, usually showing 1080p as 720p... So, anyway, I've been using Co-Pilot to create reporting based using the API key that I created specifically for this. I should mention that I first tried the API key that was already with the same error. My Lifetime license appears to be fully installed and everything is happy in that regard. ERROR OCCURRED: Access token is invalid or expired. The C:\Reports path has full permissions and I'm executing the .PS1 file from within Powershell, which is running as Administrator. After a lot of back and forth, Co-Pilot thinks that the issue is related to network binding of some sort, causing the key to be rejected. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I've attached the script here as a .TXT file, in case that helps. EmbyReportingPowershell.txt-

HI, there is currently no option in emby server for this, if that's what you're asking.

Hello, I tried to add a smb path to my library, and I received an error message. All my media libraries are organized with smb path for a long time. When I try to add, "smb://192.168.1.16/NAS006_1/Videotheque" for example , I get this error message : "Please supply the full path. Relative paths are not supported." My server is running under Linux Debian 13, with Emby version 4.10.0.27 An idea ?

Hi, can you please show screenshot examples? Thanks.
-
hi, yes emby will use those metadata files if present. there were probably nfo files created containing collections and Emby imported those. I would say just let Emby handle it and turn off in the other app.
-
Hi, how exactly did you migrate?
-
HI, I don't think we would do that under the hood as I'm not sure that's a safe change with all guide data sources. This has come up before and what i think we should do is change the new option to let you pick from new, live, etc.

Hi, can you please show us how you setup port forwarding in your router?
-
absolutely - happy to do that, but tomorrow now - cheers.

I don't recall but I would try 4.9.5 and the latest version numbers of emby apps.
-
HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !

Upgraded 4.9.3 -> 4.9.5 (Artwork and data for movies disappearing on scheduled scans?)

HI, and you don't want to just group them together as multi-version? -

Yup, agreed. I have a lifetime PlexPass as well. I walked away from Plex a couple/few years ago when they started with all their streaming and everything else nonsense. I also don't miss having 95% of the updates break all kinds of stuff. I tried Jellyfin, but it just wasn't something that I could live with, at least at the time. Thankfully I found Emby and gave it a try. It took less than one week to get the lifetime Premiere license and I've never looked back.

A request to Emby - please clarify the situation with the AndroidTv app
cncb replied to ecrispy's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
Last time I tried LIVE TV in Emby (2 years ago), I experienced the following behavior when trying to watch an in-progress recording. Emby for Android: Could only watch from beginning and no seeking was possible. Emby Android TV: Could seek and resume but resuming far into a long recording took a very long time. Has this changed/improved at all? Thanks. -
Found the problem, i've made a problem where if you have multiples of the same movie the highest quality will be used. It was supposed to only work for multi version videos. I will revert the change and look into fixing it in another version. Many thanks for reporting this!
